Highlights consist of selecting small or thick strands of hair that are then lightened at least 2 shades lighter than the rest of your hair. You should never go more than 3 shades lighter then the rest of your hair color. Highlights make your hair look brighter.



Aspirin mask - for acne scars and large pores

Yes, you are hearing it right. Aspirin mask can be used to reduce the size of open pores, removing acne scars or acne, and for smooth skin
Dont use it if you allergic to aspirin or are pregnant. Aslo use it at your own risk. This has worked for me doesnt mean it will work for you. But it really did work well for me. It has drying effect, so apply moisturizer immediately after.



Removing hair build up

Repeated use of shampoos/gels will cause your hair and scalp's natural oils to build-up and combine with the product's waxy residue, making your hair appear lifeless. If your hair looks shiny near the scalp while the rest is dull, you probably have build-up.
A clarifying shampoo can be used to remove buildup. This shampoo is acidic and should be used only once a week.
Home made remedies to remove build up:
1) Add a pinch of baking soda to the shampoo before you wash your hair
2) Mix 1/4 cup vinegar + 1 cup water and rinse your hair with this

Epilators:
Mechanical epilators pulls out the hair and should not be used on sensitive skin areas such as face. Using epilators can be quite painful. In addition, the hair must be about ¼ inch long for good effect, and the epilator could still miss some hair. Results last about a week.
