Tips for pale skin

Pale skin and nails are usually a sign of lack of iron in your diet. The deficiency of iron leads to a condition called anaemia. In India, nearly eight out of ten women suffer from various degrees of anaemia.
Eat foods rich in iron :
1) Green leafy vegetables - spinach
2) Cereal, grains, millets especially bajra and ragi are good sources of iron.
3) Eggs and liver are also good sources if you are a non-vegetarian.
Vitamin C helps in the absorption of iron, so eat some citrus fruits like orange, sweet lime or sprouts.

Bleaching

Bleach is a chemical and is not good for your skin. Regular bleaching will make your skin age faster, as bleach removes many essential oils from the skin.
However, if you must bleach your face follow these rules.
1). Use only a cream based bleach on your face. Always do a test patch by putting the bleach on the hand first. If it produces allergy, rash or redness, do not use that particular product.
2). Do not keep the bleach for a long period on your face.
3). Bleaching is recommended only twice a month.

Split ends

Split ends occur due to the
a) Excessive use of hot rollers or application of heat to the hair
b) Use of wrong hair brushes or combs
c) Application of chemicals like perm and straightening lotions to the hair.
Therefore to prevent split ends, stop using heat to treat your hair. Buy a good brand of hair brush and comb. When you have very tangled hair, use a conditioner and then comb your hair. Do not try to take out the tangles forcefully as this leads to split ends.
