- Biography: After a lukewarm response to her debut movie Teen Patti (2010), followed by a lead role in Luv Ka The End (2011), Shraddha Kapoor rose to prominence with Mohit Suri’s Aashiqui 2 (2013). Born on 3 March 1987, Shraddha Kapoor is an Indian actress, singer and daughter of actor Shakti Kapoor and Shivangi Kapoor. Shraddha Kapoor is the niece of Tejaswini Kolhapure and Padmini Kolhapure. After enrolling in Boston University to study psychology, Shraddha left her course mid-way to pursue her acting career. After commercially unsuccessful movies, Shraddha’s turning point came with Aashiqui 2 as she received immense recognition for the movie. Following this, Shraddha Kapoor appeared in a series of movies that includes Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, EK Villain, Haider, Ungli, ABCD 2, and many more. Shraddha Kapoor is a trained singer and she has lent her voice as playback singer to songs that include Galliyan from Ek Villain, Do Jahaan in Haider, Bezubaan Phir Se in ABCD 2 and Sab Tera in Baaghi, among others. Besides acting, Shraddha Kapoor supports various charitable organizations. In 2016, Shraddha Kapoor was featured in Forbes as one of the most influential Asians under the age bracket of 30.
