Yay or Nay : Parineeti Chopra in Notte by Marchesa

Yay or Nay : Parineeti Chopra in Notte by Marchesa

Parineeti Chopra walked the red carpet at the MAMI closing ceremony wearing a black Notte by Marchesa dress.
I really didn't mind the dress in the pic that Parineeti posted on Twitter (pic below), but once the camera flashes hit the dress, it changed it completely... and not for the good. Unfortunately, the red carpet pics are what that matter. The dress did her no good.
She styled her look with Zara ankle straps and a Curio Cottage ring.
Neck up, she looked gorg!

Yay or Nay : Esha Gupta in Atsu

Yay or Nay : Esha Gupta in Atsu

For the MAMI closing ceremony, actress Esha Gupta chose to wear a Atsu Sekhose dress from his Spring Summer 2014 collection.
The dress had a floral patterned bodice with a pleated striped skirt. She styled the look with a pair of silver Jimmy Choo pumps, red double studded Dior earrings, a red mouth and an updo.
I love the dress on her. It looks better on her than the runway model. But I had two tiny issues with the look.
1. I wish the make up was not that harsh. And 2. I don't like those pumps.
What are your thoughts on the look?

Yay or Nay : Madhuri Dixit in Abu Jani - Sandeep Khosla

Yay or Nay : Madhuri Dixit in Abu Jani - Sandeep Khosla

Also present at MAMI closing ceremony was the gorgeous Madhuri Dixit.
The actress also wore a Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla saree. Her plain black saree had a sequined border detail running all over the sides. A matching cap sleeve blouse, earrings and a gold ring from Minerali rounded off her look.
I'm not the biggest fan of the saree itself. And I wish she had done something better with her hair. But I still like this look. She wears it really well.
Your thoughts?
Madhuri was styled by Ami Patel.

Yay or Nay : Anushka Sharma in Abu Jani - Sandeep Khosla

Yay or Nay : Anushka Sharma in Abu Jani - Sandeep Khosla

The MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2014 came to an end last night with a lot of Bollywood celebrities in attendance.
Anushka Sharma walked the red carpet wearing a pale yellow ombre saree that had gold and silver sequins placed strategically to create a chevron pattern.
While I loved the saree, I'm on the fence on the blouse. A part of me loves that unexpected clash with that patterned blouse, but a part of me wishes she had opted for a simpler one.
My indecisiveness on the blouse aside, no denying that Ms. Sharma is owning that look.
