Today, i.e. February 11, 2019, the 61st Grammy Awards is currently underway in Los Angeles with Girl on Fire crooner Alicia Keys as the host. Starting things off is ex-Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello who had a little help from her Latina friends like Ricky Martin and J Balvin and belted out Havana.     A magical tribute for Dolly Parton

    Grammys 2019 paid a befitting tribute to the only and only, Dolly Parton, who stole the whole damn show with her performance. Kacey Musgraves and Katy Perry were joined by Dolly to sing her famous single, Here You Come Again. Later, Dolly was joined by her goddaughter Miley Cyrus as they belted out Jolene with BTS dancing along in the audience. Dolly was also accompanied by Maren Morris and Little Big Town. The Queen ended the musical performance with 9 to 5 as everyone accompanied the legend on stage.

    Childish Gambino, who burst onto the scene with his soul-stirring single This is America, deservedly took home the Grammy for Song of the Year at the 61st Grammy Awards. This is America also won Best Music Video and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. However, the singer, along with Drake and Kendrick Lamar, turned down a Grammys 2019 appearance. In the meantime, congrats to Donald Glover!

    Michelle Obama makes a surprise appearance at Grammys 2019

    Grammys 2019 host Alicia Keys was surrounded by strong women and "some of her sisters" like Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and Jada Pinkett Smith. During her monologue, things started off with a standing ovation for the multiple Grammy winner. "Music has always helped me tell my story," Michelle relayed to an enthusiastic crowd. What a way to make a statement!

    Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper win Best Pop Duo/Group Performance

    It was anything but Shallow for Lady Gaga, who won the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance award along with Bradley Cooper, at the Grammys 2019. The A Star is Born duo won the Grammy for their song Shallow. An emotional Gaga accepted the award. Gaga also took home the Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance for Joanne (Where Do You Think You're Goin'?)​

    Ariana Grande wins her first Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener

    Ariana Grande was in for a pleasant shock as her album Sweetener won Best Pop Album at the Grammys 2019. The 7 Rings singer was not present at the event due to a disagreement with the Recording Academy over her supposed performance.
