Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh were once a hot couple before their romance sizzled out. Since the, the two are trying to avoid each other as much as possible. However, Anushka apparently tried to bury the hatchet and avoid future awkward moments by complimenting her ex.
This saturday at an Awards ceremony Anushka walked up to Ranveer and complimented on him on his new look. “You looking damn good with your stubble,” she said with a smile. And it seemed this was enough to break the ice between the two and both were seen chatting for quite some time.

Here's to audience who have been patiently waiting to see Anushka essay a character other than the loud, bubbly, happy-go-lucky girl. We already know that she has been confirmed as the lead female for 'Peekay' and her role this time would be to play of a girl who's an alcoholic. She will be working opposite Aamir Khan and the newcomer, Sushant Singh Rajput.

We hardly get to see our Bollywood beauties sport a yellow gown at events, but recently Anushka Sharma and Bipasha Basu were both seen flaunting their yellow gowns at different award functions. While Anushka Sharma opted for a Victoria Beckham gown for the Filmfare Awards 2013 ceremony, Bipasha Basu opted for a Gucci gown for the Stardust Awards 2013 ceremony.
