In an interview with NDTV covering many topics including her latest release 'Aiyya', Rani Mukherjee spoke about the so called limited shelf life of female actors in Bollywood and how it was unfair to blame the film industry for what, according to her, was a trait of our society.
She pointed out that it has always been okay for men to be older than their partners in India but never the other way round. She said the 'shelf life' was a part of our society and cannot be changed by a few Bollywood stars alone and must be viewed in a positive manner.
