KajolBollywood and its Bengali Connection
We often see the actresses from B-Town, go the traditional way and most often its by draping a sari. It makes for a very elegant wear. But when they do need to experiment with the style, they sometimes go the bengali way of draping a sari. Somehow it looks extremely classy and neater when draped this way and also tends to showcase the beauty of the attire much better than the normal way of draping it. Bollywood Goes Desi This Festive Season
The festive season is back and Bollywood is celebrating it with a lot of devotion and glamour! And finally, the women of B-Town decided to go completely desi with their attire and not really go for a fusion look. It was indeed a visual treat to see these women at their desi best. Take a look for yourself :-) Bad Blouse Choices!
The lovely Isha Koppikar was seen at the Jewellers award Jury meet in a nice pink sari paired with a garish sequined blouse. The entire look would have been stunning, if only she had draped the sari well, and paired it with a better blouse. Do you agree? Well,we know this is not the first time the ladies of Bollywood make such mistakes. Let us look at some of their Bad Blouse Choices - blouses that have ruined the sarees! 'Choker' bali - Malaika/Kangana/Karisma ?
Did Malaika's gorgeous Hi Living Cover ring a bell, for you? The appearance was very similar to the stunning blue dress and the necklace worn by Kangana to the Miss India event earlier. I felt that while Malaika looked more feminine, Kangana looked edgy ! Remember, Karisma's recent L'Officiel photoshoot? She had also paired her short Armaan dress with the lovely choker necklace! So, who wins the 'choker' bali round for you? (LOL- though only Malaika has worn a 'bali' along with the 'choker'!!!!) Kangana is the girl for me, here! Old is Gold - Neetu Singh / Kajol / Aishwarya ?
Neetu Singh looked lovely in a Golden Olive/Red Manish Malhotra Anarkali at the recent WFW 2011. This seems to be an all time favorite among our bollywood beauties. Take a look at Kajol ( Berlin Film Festival MNIK) and Aishwarya Rai ( Apsara Awards) too in very similar anarkalis. Who wins this round for you? |
