Despite mixed reviews, Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Baaghi has managed to earn a massive opening at the ticket window on its first day. The film collected INR 11.87 crores on day one, making it the second highest opener of 2016.

The film has performed exceptionally well in mass circuits - CP Berar, CI, Rajasthan, Bihar, Assam and Orissa. The bigger circuits like Mumbai, Delhi, UP and East Punjab has fared well.

The Sabbir Khan directed affair has scored better than Akshay Kumar starrer Airlift and is slightly below Shah Rukh Khan's Fan.

While the production numbers say the above figures, the numbers mentioned by a trade site aren't much different. According to Box Office India, Baaghi has collected INR 11.75 crores on the first day.

With no other major release this week, the collections of the movie are sure to rise on Saturday and Sunday.
