Avengers: Endgame Box Office Collection Day 9 India: Marvel film set to hit Rs 300 crore mark this weekend
The film which has broken quite a few box office records not just in India, but worldwide as well, witnessed a spectacular box office run on Day 9, Saturday.
Marvel's most anticipated film of the year Avengers: Endgame released on April 26 and has completed a successful first week at the box office. The film which has broken quite a few box office records not just in India, but worldwide as well, witnessed a spectacular box office run on Day 9, Saturday. According to a report in Box Office India, the superhero flick raked in Rs 18 crore on its second Saturday and the growth was around 50 per cent since Friday's collection.
The report added that it will hit the Rs 300 crore mark by Sunday afternoon even though Hollywood films sometimes do not witness a lot of growth on Sunday. The total box office collection for Avengers: Endgame in India so far is almost Rs 290 crore. Day 8 which means May 4, Friday, witnessed the least collection so far. However, the film will make up for it over the weekend and during the week as no new movie is set to release until Student of The Year 2 on Friday.
A per BOI report, the best performing circuits for Endgame so far have been Mumbai, Delhi/UP and Mysore. While Mumbai alone has seen Rs 80 crore collection, Delhi/UP stands at Rs 51 crore followed by Mysore which has seen Rs 27 crore nett collection. Avengers: Endgame was the culmination of 21 movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the film has been one of the biggest and historic pop culture events in recent times.
