Avengers: Endgame is not just the biggest film of 2019, but of the decade as well! Starring the OG 6 Avengers namely Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) fans were given closure on a decade-long, 21 films journey. It was the perfect swan song for our favourite superheroes like Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff.

Currently, James Cameron's Avatar (2009) holds the spot for the most successful film at the box-office. Since the day of its release, Avengers: Endgame has been smashing it at the box-office and after more than a month, the MCU film is still going strong. It's currently beaten the likes of Titanic (1997) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and is placed at the 2nd position for the most successful movies, just below Avatar. According to BoxOfficeMojo.com, Avengers: Endgame has collected a staggering $2.716 billion at the worldwide box-office.

This means that Avengers: Endgame is $70 million short of dethroning Avatar's lifetime box-office collection of $2.788 billion. It's going to be a long march for the movie as it will soon be up against Men In Black: International and Toy Story 4.
