Kesari Box Office Collection Day 18: Akshay Kumar & Parineeti Chopra starrer beats Ranveer Singh's Gully Boy
Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer Kesari has beaten Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy at the box office. The film has managed to collect Rs 143.02 crore till now.
Featuring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra Kesari has crossed the Rs 140 crore mark at the box office. The film has proved itself to be a blockbuster, appreciated by both critics and the audience. Just after three weeks of its release, Kesari stands at a total of Rs 143.02 crore till now. This film is now the third highest grosser of 2019 so far, beating Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Gully Boy. The next pedestal in its way is the multi-starrer Total Dhamaal which earned a huge amount of Rs 152 crore at the box office.
On the other hand, the Chuck Russell directorial Junglee has earned a total of Rs 23.45 crore, striving to add a crore on its second weekend. The film will probably reach Rs 30 crore mark at the box office. Junglee features actors like Vidyut Jammwal, Pooja Sawant and Atul Kulkarni. While Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan starrer thriller has managed to collect Rs 85.26 crore till now, bagging 1.57 crore over the weekend.
The Bash Mohammed directorial Lukka Chuppi earned 0.50 crore more over the weekend. As of now, the Kartik Aryan and Kriti Sanon starrer has reached a total of 93.23 crores. It is expected to go down after the release of the period drama Kalank. Kalank is a period drama, set in pre-independent India. The film features a huge cast including Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, and Sanjay Dutt. It is set to hit the theatres on April 17, this year.
