Marjaavaan Box Office Prediction Day 1: Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria starrer has a fair start

Talking about the releases this week, we have quite a range of films to look at, right from Tara Sutaria, Rakul Preet Singh, Riteish Deshmukh, and Rakul Preet Singh's Marjaavaan, to Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty's Motichoor Chaknachoor, and of course, two of the Hollywood releases, Ford V Ferrari and Charlies Angels. As one might have predicted, the first-day occupancy for the films has worked out just close enough.

Sidharth and Tara's Marjaavaan started off with a decent 20-25% occupancy, given the effect it has had as far as the mass centres are concerned. Most of the multiplexes have a single screen release for the film, which is what has caused a very bare minimal start, with good collections in Maharashtra, Nizam, Gujarat, and CP Berar, while some fair response is expected from the East and the UP as well.
