Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria, and Ananya Panday starrer Student of The Year 2 released on Friday, May 10. The film didn't receive great reviews from the audience as well as the critics. The film is the second part of Student of The Year which starred Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan.
SOTY 2 is helmed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar. The film has entered its second week but is witnessing very slow growth. As reported by Box Office India, the second week collection of SOTY 2 is Rs 58.75 crores approx. The report mentions that this Tiger, Tara and Ananya starrer might cross 64 crore nett but won't reach 70 crore mark at the box office.
Student of The Year 2 was one of the much-awaited films of 2019. It marks Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria's Bollywood debut and Tiger Shroff's first collaboration with Karan Johar. As the first film was well received by the audience, there were a lot of expectations from SOTY 2.
On Friday, May 17, Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet starrer De De Pyaar De released which opened to mixed reviews. On its second day, the film showed good growth in its numbers.
