Spider Man: Far From Home Box Office Collection India Day 3: Tom Holland starrer earns THIS much
Spider-Man: Far From Home released in India last Thursday. After witnessing a drop on Friday, the movie saw a rise on Saturday. The MCU movie stars Tom Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal and Zendaya in the lead.
Tom Holland donned the Spider-Man suit for the second time in a standalone Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: Far From Home. The Marvel superhero returns to the big screen about two months after Avengers: Endgame released. Holland was seen reprising his superhero alter ego to reunite with his mentor Tony Stark and participating in the epic battle before he mourned his death. The new Spider-Man movie picks up from the ending of Avengers: Endgame and shows Peter Parker find his foot sans Iron Man. While the reviews have been in the movie's favour, the box office collection will also bring a smile of the producers' faces at Sony Pictures.
The movie, released on July 4 in India, started off on a good note. The movie recorded an opening box office collection of Rs 9.75 crore on Thursday. The movie witnessed a drop on Friday, collecting Rs 8.5 crore on Day 2. However, Spider-Man: Far From Home witnessed growth on Saturday. The MCU movie registered a whopping Rs 12 crore on Day 3, as per Box Office India. The movie recorded a 40 percent growth in numbers on Saturday. The three-day total stands at Rs 30.25 crore. While it is an impressive collection for the movie, Spider-Man: Far From Home doesn't succeed in surpassing Captain Marvel's Day 1 collection in India. 
"The Saturday number is still lower than the first day of Captain Marvel which went to 86 crore nett in its lifetime total in March this year. These weekend numbers should be good enough to make it the highest grossing Spiderman film in India but footfalls will probably be not higher than the last film Homecoming unless Monday is very strong," the site reports. If all goes well, Spider-Man: Far From Home will become the third highest grossing Hollywood movie in India. It will comfortably sit beneath Avengers: Endgame and Captain Marvel.
