The 8th STAR Guild Awards (previously known as the Apsara Film and Television Producers Guild Awards) are presented by the Film & Television Producers Guild of India to acknowledge the achievements in cinema and television. The ceremony will be held on February 16 2013 in Mumbai.

DIRECTOR: ANURAG OR SUJOY INSTEAD OF GAURI
ACTOR: RANBIR OR IRFAN INSTEAD OF HRITHIK
ACTRESS: PRIYANKA OR VIDYA INSTEAD OF SRIDEVI
GAURI WILL GET MOST PROMISING DIRECTOR BUT SHE HONESTLT DESERVE INCLUDING THE BEST DIRECTOR 2012 WHILE HRITHIK AND SRIDEVI WILL BE SIDELINED DESPITE GIVEN THE BEST PERFORMANCE OF 2012 BY ACTORS

Diana Penty ♥ Please!! I hope she wins something!! Diana deserves the award fir Best Debut!!! She was really good in Cocktail, and was actually a good emoter in the emotional scenes. Of course, she definitely needs to improve, but hey- no one is the best in their first film, and anyway she was much better than Alia Bhatt in SOTY. Alia has a really long way to go in terms of acting. Ileana shouldn't win the award as she is a South debutant. She's done more than 15 films already and it isn't fair if she wins. She should have been nominated for Best Supporting Actress. I reckon she could have won for that. She was actually better than Anushka- she's done the same role over and over again. So annoying now!! Can't believe Ileana's not nominated though :(
Oh so Apsara became Guild? I wonder why? Apsara is such a nice Indian word.

I was wrong! Its not 3-4 awards but there more than 5 award shows still to come. Stardust will come on sun, next sun would be filmfare than TOIIFA,IIFA, apsara, now guild.
