Aishwarya Rai is down but still not out !!!
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan might be all of 35 and is losing out on endorsement deals and positions to the likes of Kareena Kapoor and plastic actress gone lucky, Katrina Kaif, but she still is going strong in more ways that one. Not just Ash, her contemporaries like Sushmita Sen, Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta and Kajol too have been replaced by the likes of Kat, Bebo, Deepika Padukone, even Sonam Kapoor and Genelia D’Souza. But Ash is doing better than her contemporaries. She may not be the face of Coca-Cola and Nakshatra diamond jewellery in India, but she still has successful and long-standing international endorsements. She has completed nearly a decade of endorsing Swiss luxury watch brand Longines, international soap Lux and is the brand ambassador of global haircare brand L’Oreal since 2003. And unlike Shilpa Shetty and Preity Zinta who have moved on to businesses like IPL with rich boyfriends, Ash still has some good movies like Maniratnam’s ‘Raavan’, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next with Hrithik Roshan, Vipul Shah’s ‘Action Replay’ with Akshay Kumar and a movie with Excel entertainment, probably one with Rajiv Menon as well. Hollywood top star Will Smith is still willing to work with her. She is still the highest paid Actress in India for both films & endorsements. That very well makes clear the fact that the dame is here to stay put in the glitzy world of showbiz for a few more years. The Kats, Bebos and Dipsys of the world be damned.

I don't think he would be that infatuated by her to the point of condoning racism. He is after all a man of color. Also she's not the only game in town anymore. Who would anyone want to work with, Pinto who was in an Oscar winning film, or Rai, who has made every Hollywood movie into a flop?I personally think Smith is blessed by her declining him. I do think it's a racist thing with her, don't want to believe it though....
who really cares who is on top right now or will be in the future. They get to do what they love, travel, get paid loads of money... do they really care what people think i don't think so! \i would like to see good films with good acting... can people stop posting things about ash it's getting boring. But i like to say no one can be like sush who has devoted her life to an innocent human being and because of her a child will have opportunities that she may other wise not have had. First of all, don't agree that a woman over 35 needs to take a hike.. their career has just begun.. look at Julia.
On the other hand, she's had her fill of the entire Bollywood pie.. it's time for other women with talent in their 30's to have big roles like Nandita and Tabu.. now they're sublime. Bollywood just focuses too much on some- does not give equal chances to so many rare talents all over India who come in different ages, sizes, shapes and colors.

since when is LUX soap international? manik grow up its not worth your time fighting for Aish or any other star. they all live their life and make their money. do something productive with your time instead of creating posts defending aish. anyways kareena belongs to the legendary kapoor family so shes not going anywhere either. aish just marrried into a famous family. anyways putting down other people is not gonna make aish look any better. its bad karma so i suggest you go ahead loving aish but that doesnt mean you demean others

She is getting projects because of her father-in-law. Believe me, if she was not married to the Bachchan, she would have been in the same categories as Preity, Rani, and others.
When a woman is over 35 years, her face lose that youthfullness, and the body goes through various changes. I think she should accept the facts that she can no longer play a teenager and an actress in her early twenties, and should accept roles relating to her age.

Aishwarya is ICONIC. Aishwarya is a class apart from these others. This is why its a big deal when a Katrina signs a diamond deal. Because it was AISHWARYA'S.

If Will finds out, he will probably be so besotted by her, he will start to blame her agents or call this a PV hoax and blame everyone else for it. He'll keep wanting to star with her. Felt kind of bad for Will that she kept rejecting every role from him-- but always got the notion that Aish probably wants to be seen as Italian or Spanish (white)-- and not black or a person of color-- in the international arena-- but this could be wrong. The poster would have had far more respect had he not silently went on his 'dark maid' rampage to bring down the 'supposed competition'. The true dark colors lurk somewhere behind the shining devotion. Aish is a big star in India-- and no longer really needs devoted fans anymore-- has been #1 for a long time in Bollywood thanks to ppl's devotion like this-- good for them. hope he gets PR $ from Aish's camp.
