In an interview to TOI , Kareena kapoor talked about her new look for her item number in Heroine. Here are some excerpts. Says Bebo, "I have gone back to the size-zero look I had in Tashan, but this time it is curvier. I wanted this body for my item song in the film. Since it is a rigorous and raunchy number, I decided to go for a slim and sexy look. But I still have curves in the right places. It may be a trend now with some actors, but I definitely don't want to look plump or fat!" "Being fat is not sexy! Anyone who says that is talking crap. Voluptuous is sexy, but fat is out. Any woman who says she doesn't want to be thin is talking nonsense. It's every girl's dream."

when will you grow up Kareena? You're in your 30's now, at least start acting like a 30 year old
there are many girls out there who suffer from body image issues and low self esteem b/c of people like you, who promote skinny/thin as the only acceptable body type
there are many average and big women who are beautiful, and comfortable with themselves and aren't insecure unlike you, people should be comfortable with themselves whether skinny or big
with out makeup like evil i dont watch with out makeup indian beauty only makeup other wise no body like them

@Anon, some people like you only have one work to do, and tht is "annoying" people with ur stupid comments, in this WHOLE post I didnt gave a single bad comment, nor do I support Aishwarya Rai all the time. I see a lot of people mentioning how similar Sonam and Kareena are. Yes, both are Kapoor bimbos, both are below average in talent department and nothing WOW in looks, both were born with silver spoon in their mouth, both gave one flop after the other yet kept getting offers because of industry connections, both are highly dumb and loudmouths.
But there is a difference. While Sonam's dumbness is very innocent and child-like, Kareena's dumbness is coupled with maliciousness and insecurity.

GREAT comment! 100% true! Also, Kareena should not be speaking on behalf of every woman. Not everyone WANTS to be size 0; she doesn't seem to understand that there are women out there all all sizes that are perfectly happy with the way they look. Agree with you. I feel the same that ash, PR, Buddies, family, ash herself ex-boyfriends,current hubby, paid staff applaud her in every post of her no matter what even though when she look scary.

lol Kareena's acting skills are below Sonam's. Kareena always overreacts, but I guess in india "overreaction=good acting" bc ppl don't understand subtle expressions, symbolism, irony unless said out loud. All these r able to be pointed out with good body language, tone and expressions that don't involve exercise of every facial muscle.

This post has reflected the insecurities of a lot of people. Kitty and Schmuck are as usual writing baseless statements without any reasoning. Kapoor bimbos? Right! Kareena is not the highest paid actress for no reason!
Actors and directors want her in their films for a reason. So many of my friends who dont like Kareena in general, never comment on her acting abilities cz they know thats one thing abt her that no one can point a finger at.

Don't ask a question if you can't deal with the answer, and if you can't find any argument to explain why Kareena's quotes are intelligent or witty then don't argue her case. Simple. Even her fans are mature enough to say that Kareena made a faux pas, now the only ones that will applaud her silly statements would probably be her family members, paid staff, boyfriend, or KK herself. Kareena has come a long way when it comes to acting. But how many chances did she get? An actress is expected to be in shape...its a fact. To survive in bollywood you have to be a certain shape. Vidya is succesful now, but 5 years later no one will care about her...they will call her an old aunty. Aishwarya survived because of her looks, Kajol is very talented, but doesnt get the same amount of film offers as Aishwarya. Kareena got so many chances to act opposite actors and good directors like no one. If she was no Kapoor girl she was gone long time ago. She was arrogant and still is but is a more sly way. Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, Yaadein, Ajnabee, Asoka
,Mujhse Dosti Karoge!, Jeena Sirf Merre Liye, Talaash: The Hunt Begins.., Khushi, Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon,LOC Kargil and after all this films she finally managed to act well in chameli. Would a new comer get so many chances? Kareena should have been the best actress ever by now,,,she flopped and got another chance, then flopped and got again another chance.
