Is Dharmendra too busy to holiday with his second family?
After getting her elder daughter, Esha Deol, married to a businessman Bharat Takhtani, the mommy Hema Malini now seems to be pretty relieved and plans to take a holiday. The Dream Girl of Bollywood wanted her hubby dear to come along with her on her dream vacation but Dharmendra’s work has played spoil sport. To her utter disappointment, Dharmendra won’t be able to accompany her on the family holiday as he is occupied with the pre-production of hit home venture 'Yamala Pagala Deewana'. The sequel also stars Dharmendra and both his sons, Sunny and Bobby Deol. A source close to the Deol family reveals, “Hema has been horribly busy the last two months with the arrangements of Esha’s wedding. Since the marriage happened two days ago, Hema decided to take a break and go on a much needed vacation. The younger daughter Ahana is joining her too. Hema wanted it to be a family vacation and asked Dharmendra to give the mother and daughter some company but he is too busy with his next home venture which is going on the floor very soon. As a result he won’t be joining them.” The source says, “The mother and daughter haven’t decided on a place yet. Hema has left it on Ahana to pick a place of her choice.” Hema Malini remained unavailable for comment.

Hema was not forced to marry Dharam. She married on her own and chose Dharam only. So it's their choices.
I read somewhere that she fell for Dharam because he was very good-looking! Well that is true madrasi men are not good looking.

Sanjeev was crazy about Hema. In her own community, men were making beeline for this hottie Hema. She had no dearth of fan followers. She should have settled like Madhuri dixit. Unfortunately, this Dharm came in the scene, they were screen lovers and hot romantic pair. With his persistence, hema overstepped her boundaries. Too heavy a price, she never demanded divorce as she was foolish in love. As a single parent, she has been fantastic. Loyal to Dharam, she has never gotten into any scandal other than this mistake for which she has paid too much. Shilpa, Sridevi, Lara, have wrenched off the man, who willingly followed his lusty path. Hema never did that, but surely could have done so. BTW, Mads married at nearly 40 years to a highly eligible guy in her own community. Hema's brahmin community teems with eligible men.

People keep saying Hema gave up so much, but the question is was Dharam willling to divorce Prakash? he is a very conservative man. Also, Jeetandra already had a steady girlfriend in Shobha when the jeetu-hema marriage rumors came up. So did Hema really have many men wanting to marry her?

I hope her case gives lesson to women who fall for married men. There are so many of them who wont leave their first wives for the second one. And both dharmender n hema are at fault here, noone else.

Hema back in the days was aishwarya of today without the photoshop and other devices. Her acting chops, her charm, her work ethics were incomparable. She was major paisa vasool for the cinema investors.
Touching 65 she has swum against every current. I am glad PV and other sites have covered this wedding out of fan demand and respect.

hemaji is the best. she turned out to be mother and father to the delightful girls in her life. shame on that dharam and his first wife family. mrs.prakash deol should have insisted on her sons gracing the step sister wedding. after all, the most beauteous woman gave up so much for so little in return.
