What's with the hate on Dhanush?!?!
He is not in the industry cuz of Rajnikanth. Dhanush tasted fame even b4 he married Aishwarya Rajnikanth. His first 3 films were super hit (hat trick). After marriage he did face a few flops but bounced back with movies that made people sit and watch.
He is the youngest person to win the National Award for Best Actor for the movie Adukalam. He is a versatile actor carries any role with elan. Be it drama, comedy or masala. Watch Adu Oru Kanaa Kalam, Utthama Puthiran (Ready in Hindi. Salman was NOTHING), Kadhal Kondain, Moondru (3), Mayakam Enna.
Contrary to popular believe, Kolavari Di did not help him. He was famous way b4. Perhaps you lot should just stick to watching YashRaj; SRK; Salman; Rohit Shetty; Bhatt type of cinema and leave the regional cinema to those who enjoy good CINEMA.
And to Dhanush....you go bro!!!
Dhanush is a great actor. Go and watch 3 if you don't believe. Some of the comments here about his looks are to be honest really pathetic and disgusting. He is an actor. Acting skills defines an actor not his looks. These days so much time is spent on the looks of an actor/actress, silly item numbers and raunchy one liners that people seem to have forgotten that. As for Sonam, I saw spark of great acting skills in her in Delhi 6. Saawariya, Aisha and I hate luv storys wasn't bad and even her performance in Mausam was decent. But after that and in between she did some really crappy stuff. I think slice of life characters and realistic stories suit her best. So overall am looking forward to this but fingers crossed.
i dont know how dhanush can be hailed as a hero!! come on.....even if he is a good actor...zero screen presence...nepotism rules everywhere in our country.....why would bolly/tollywood/kollywood be any different?

i used to hate dhanush because of his bad looks....if u think he looks bad now, u shud've seen him in his earlier films... it was unbearable!!!
but then, slowly, he grew on me. yes, he looks better now, cos he's maturing into a man, he's put on a bit of weight and his facial structure is more developed. but more than that, i came to realise that dhanush is extremely talented and hard-working. he's an amazing actor. the youngest actor to ever win a national award...
go watch the film "mayakkam enna" seriously...that is the film which really made me sit up and notice his acting prowess. i like the fact that he now chooses to do roles that fit his image, rather than the mass hero type of roles, which he clearly isn't cut out for in terms of looks or personality. his appeal is in appearing "ordinary," that's his USP. the common man can easily relate to him - the guy isn't some hrithik roshan that every other guy can only dream of looking like. dhanush is like you and me. that's why dhanush is a success, despite his scrawny appearance.
and to the person who says he doesn't fit the bill of a northie...dude look at the picture carefully...can't u see the other dark brown malnournished men sitting next to him? he clearly fits in! he looks the part of a varanasi boy totally! brahman's and north indians don't always have to be fair and obese ok!?

I've only been impressed with Aisha(which should have been second nature for her) and Saawariya. This girl has a lot to prove as an actress.
When I remember back Sonam's acting in Saawariya & Delhi 6 I remember she acted good in pov, but when I saw her in thank you, her acting was soooo different, she just STOOD thr lol.
I agree.. Sonam acts and looks best when she is taken away from all the added glamour stuff... she is such a beautiful girl that the make-up and clothes hide her beauty rather than highlight them.. and it has to do with her choice of clothing mostly... Looks like she'll be really good in this film, about Dhanush.. I actually don't like him and don't think he deserves the fame he gets (Kolaveri was pointless, senseless and classless)
Sonam has such a pretty face and lovely smile. A film with Sonam, Abhay and south's Danush sounds very interesting. Already expectations from this film are high, hope the film will live up to it.

Abhay is in this, so i guess the air is clear btwn Sonam and Abhay or atleast with her pa by now. Abhay is such a talented fellow, and usually whichever movie, he tends to be in, it turns out to be good. So crossing my fingers for this one.
I think she can act but in certain type of movies where style is not a factor. She tends to get carried away with the 'look' than acting in the film. She actually acted decently in Swariyan and Dilli 6. I think she'll do well in this one cus 2 talented actors r working alongside with her.

in my opinion,she is really good at those delhi 6 / saawariya type of movies,instead of glam movies like aisha,players,etc.
these pictures look nice,I like abhay deol's acting so good that he is in the movie,too.I thought sonam & him had some problems with each other after abhay talking badly about aisha,though.I guess everything has been sorted out.

Dhanush is a great actor. I've watched all his Tamil films. This looks interesting. I'm watching this for sure.
