The festival of colours is celebrated across the country with great joy and merriment. Holi marks the victory of good over evil and it also signifies the start of a good harvest season. On the occasion of this pompous festival, people come together to play with coloured powder and have food and drinks. The drink thandai bhang is made of crushed almonds, pistachios, sugar, milk and cannabis plant and is consumed during the festival. Holi also symbolizes the start of new beginnings. Holi Ke Din Dil Khil Jate Hain - Sholay (1975)

Director Ramesh Sippy's blockbuster Sholay is one of the path-breaking films in the history of cinema for several reasons. Whenever we talk about the film, the Holi song Holi Ke Din Dil Khil Jate Hain always pops up in the conversation. Actors Dharmendra, Hema Malini and Amitabh Bachchan are seen shaking their legs together in the song happily. Sung by Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar the music is given by legendary music director R D Burman.
 
Holi Khele Raghuveera - Baghban (2003)

Amitabh Bachchan has an old connection with Holi songs. In the film Baghban, Amitabh is seen dancing to the tunes of Holi Khele Raghuveera along with Hema Malini. Amitabh Bachchan also has lend his voice for this Holi track along with singers Alka Yagnik, Sukhwinder Singh, Udit Narayan which makes it even more playful. Balam Pichkari - Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013)

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are seen in a playful mood in the song Balam Pichkari. The song also features Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin enjoying the festivities. Director Ayan Mukerji captures the healthy teasing between the two characters amidst the colourful background. Pritam Chakraborty has composed the song and Vishal Dadlani, Shalmali Kholgade are the singers of the track.
 
Gori Tu Latth Maar - Toilet- Ek Prem Katha (2017)

Gori Tu Latth Maar potrays an age old North Indian tradition performed during the Holi festival. Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar along with other villagers are seen performing the tradition as they dance to the song. Singers Sonu Nigam & Palak Muchhal have sung the song and music is given by Manas-Shikhar.
 
Badri Ki Dulhania (title track) - Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017)
Composer Tanishk Bagchi has reprised an old Hindi song for the title track of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer Badrinath Ki Dulhania. This hit dance number is a must on every Holi playlist. Dev Negi, Neha Kakkar, Monali Thakur, Ikka are voices behind this track.
