Yes, Ash did iconic super popular raunchy numbers: Ishq Kameena and Kajrare, but that was before her marriage. Kajrare was filmed back in early 2005, and Mr Bachan was just another actor that time, not her father in law. Who knew that time that one day he will become her father inlaw, Abhi-Ash hadn't even started dating back then. They started dating in late 2005-2006 during sets of Dhoom2, and Guru.

And Kalimanjiro isn't an item song, it is just another song in the movie.

After marriage, all her roles have been more decent and toned down. I think Madhur had this idea of item song in original screen play, but must have changed it/removed it when he had made modifications for Ash. He did say we have completely rewritten the script to suit Aishwarya's personality.

In no way I think that Ash would have agreed to do a Halkat jawani showing her tummy/abs considering she was pregnant, and a bahurani
