Imran Khan Lucky for his Heroines?
Looking at career track of the following actresses looks like a movie with Imran managed to strike gold for these actresses. The movies he did with these actresses managed to give some sort of success to his leading ladies in form of either critical or commercial success. Genelia D'Souza - Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na was Genelia’s first big Bollywood success and marked her return back to Bollywood as a mainstream actress. Sonam Kapoor - Sonam’s I Hate Luv Storys is her only big success when it comes to box office. And probably one of the few movies shes remembered for. Katrina Kaif – Despite numerous success at box office most of Katrina’s movies fail to attract the critics. However MBKD won Katrina critical acclaim and got her, her second Filmfare nomination for best actress. Kareena Kapoor - After being criticised for her roles in Bodyguard & Ra.one Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu gave Kareena that much needed critical acclaim. I guess he is a Khan afterall ;) Let’s hope this strike continues with Anushka Shamra in Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola.

no i thought kareena was overacting big time in ek main aur ek tu..her acting was soo irrtating & forced. anyone could have played that role better then her with more naturally.

imran is an average actor.he was fab in delhi bely.his other performances were dull.but i think he is going to be a good actor.in my opinions he was lucky only for genelia and sonam.

its not like (other than sonam) these women were having a spate of bad films until imran came along and saved them.

Are we forgetting Namestey London, New York, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Singh is King, Welcome, MBKD, ZNMD? Most of her movies are loved by the audience. Her success came before doing a movie with Imran. Look at Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. Ranbir was a newbie at that time and still it was one of the biggest hits of 2009, that's her star power. It's sad that people are contributing all these lovely ladies success to Imran who sucks at acting, has basically no fan following. Mere Brother Ki Dulhan would definitely work even without Imran. The movie grossed almost 100 cr just because of Katrina Kaif and only Katrina. Please give credit where it's due.
Compared to other young actors like Ranbir and Shahid, Imran has had a lot more box office success. All of you complaining about his acting and whether he's talented or not... well is Salman Khan a great actor? No but his movie always explode at the box office. If this is only the beginning, then he will end up being a box office king like SRK, Sallu and Aamir later on.

Exactly imran is lucky for his heroins not for himself....hahaha...but i like this guy.He's soooo cute and innocent.He has good sense of humour.I find him more interesting in his interviews than his movies.

These actresses were popular before Imran, you can't give him the credit until a new face will become a star cuz one of his films.. Like Srk-Salman-Aamir-Emran Hasmi and all other superstars in this industry
imran was praised far more than sonam in IHLS, equaly as gen in JTYJN and more than kareena in EMAET... kat stole the show in MBKD though!

You're forgetting shruti hassan deepika and minissha lamba. He's not always lucky for his heroines. It's the chemistry that matters. I thought dp and him had such an awkward chemistry, hence the film didn't work, on the other hand, he and sonam made a lovely pair, hence ihls became a superhit
Interesting! But the last bit, thats offensive. Anushka is the only one who can act (after Kareena) so you can't say he will be lucky for her. She will stand out Imran or no Imran. And mark it, I am not an Anushka fan nor Kareena's.
