Jab Tak Hai Jaan Premiere- Yash Chopra’s Heroines Come Together To Honour His Creative Genius
Stunned by Yash Chopra’s unexpected demise, his family and the film industry have come together to offer a grand tribute at the premiere of his last movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Mumbai Mirror reports that the November 12 premiere will see all his heroines come together on one stage as a tribute to his creativity and passion for making films. The premiere is expected to be attended by all big-shot actors, directors, and producers in the industry. Leading personalities in the industry had cancelled their Diwali celebration to mourn the passing of Bollywood’s most famous romantic director. However, the decision of the Chopra family to celebrate the premiere in a grand manner has brought about a change of mind. Most families now intend to have low-scale celebrations in the typical show-must-go-on spirit of the industry. All heroines, from yesteryear stars like Mala Sinha, Sadhna, Sharmila Tagore, and Rakhee to Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit and Katrina Kaif are expected to be present at the premiere. The film’s marketing team has gone all out to make this grand premiere a huge success.

Preity zinta is and always will be the best yash chopra heroine

For his last film Katrina is a ridiculous casting choice. I don't care how hard she works or tries, she can't act for shit. A newcomer gives more solid performances then her. Priyanka also debuted in 2003 yet Katrina can't touch a single one if her performances, from Fashion to Kaminey to 7 Khoon Maaf to Barfi. Should have had someone like Rani Mukerji or PC for Katrina's role. But Anushka was a good choice.
The best heroines Yashi ji had are Sridevi and Rakhee. They are his most favorite as he repeated them too. Actually it is very evident that his absolute favorite is Sridevi as he considered her a hero of the movies he made with her. Why?
Giving her an author backed role in Chandni. A title role.
Casting her in a double role in Lamhe (First time he make a double role in his movie)
the initial casting of Lamhe was Sridevi as the hero with two newcomers. then after that Anil Kapoor came into the picture.
Why Yashji loves Sridevi? its not a secret.. She is the GREATEST

She may have worked for yash raj production.
She can't be there as a yash chopra heroine.

FYI, She was suppose to be in Veer Zaara but at that time SRK threw a tantrum and Yashji went along with a different actress. SRK has since apologized
But I guess Anushka Sharma, Rani, Kajol, Juhi Chawla, Preity Zinta, Hema Malini, Neetu Singh, Jaya Bachchan & Karishma Kappor are also supposed to be thr? :) :) Because that would be MORE amazing, they have all worked with him before :)

lets be for real..there was nothing creative about his work..it was more the simpleness of his love stories that was so heartwarming...mani ratnam is creative..yash chopra was just a director who made Simple love stories on a Large scale.
