Karisma Marriage Trouble- Sanjay Kapur's Family Opposes Priya Chatwal's Presence At Family Wedding
Rumours about Karisma Kapoor's shaky marriage life have been doing rounds for quite some time now. Insiders say that husband Sanjay Kapur's relationship with Priya Chatwal, a model, is said to be the source of discord between the couple. According to Filmfare, even Sanjay's family members are strongly against his relationship with Priya. Seems Sanjay wanted to bring along Priya as a family friend to a wedding in the family and all the other family members strongly opposed the idea. What started as a disagreement ended up into a full fledged argument so much so that Sanjay ended up throwing a glass of wine at sister Mandira. He also walked out of the wedding causing an embarrassment to other family members. It is not known how Karisma reacted to the situation. At least, she has the husband's family members on her side. Sad that this problem had to surface so close to sister Kareena's dream wedding.

I feel terrible for her. Her and Abhi were a perfect match. And both are unhappy:( LOLO with her husband cheating on her and Abhi with having a relationship where he has no importance. Atleast both of them have their kids though

Abhishek seems like a nice guy. But the joint family system is so claustrophobic. It's not for everyone. Maybe Karishma didn't want it. Don't blame her one bit. Who the hell wants to live with in-laws every single day? Men need to grow up and move out. Only Aishwarya has the tolerance to put up with all that khandaani stuff, so she married the right person.

the joint family system enables them to look all traditional and what not, but rem for most of the marriage, ashwarya would be away traveling. they are in a different country every other week. if not her traveling then amitab or jaya would not be there on their own work, political stuff etc. so its not as if they are living in the "claustrophobic" way that joint family works with normal people. where its a normal middle class house. these people have mansions so they have their own personal separate space for the few times they all are together in the same house. they have tons of servants so there is no concept with MIL getting angry at DIL for not washing the dishes or something. you cant even begin to compare with the normal traditional joint family concept
What I don't understand is why both Karisma and Kareena chose to marry divorcees! A man who can't be with one woman for long, there are no guarantees he will stick with the other! I wonder what will happen to Kareena and Saif.....

Aish is always lucky in all walks of life. karisman will always be a looser. Her lack of proper education n calculation is ruining her personal life. Go 2 school, u prefer 2 jump around trees for fame n money. while this sanjay guy is well educted thinks karisman is not match to him

I feel sad for Karisma but why she did not move to Delhi when she got married. I believe that has a lot to do with this. But Sunjay being such a sleaze ball- did not help.
Amazing how life turns out... She had perfect husband material Abhi,big family name successful in-laws. Nothing lacking really. To drop all that for what? In stepped Aish cleverly, lapping up all the luxuries. Surprised how Aish ended up with Abhi and Karishma with Sanjay....

Well! When you choose a wrong man, this is what happens, Sad but truth, she made a biggest mistake of her life by listening to her mom and breaking her engagement with Abhi, such a fool she is , Look at ash and abhi now, such a happy family, she missed it, Abhi really loved her a lot and she ditched him.. Karma.. you see. you get what you deserve.. feel sad for her and her kids, sanjay kapoor was/is always a womanizer, famous in delhi, wonder what on earth she was thinking when she married him..

Who cares if the in laws are on her side. Her husband isn't. He doesn't love her, never did. He just wants his marriage with Karisma to finally end. It's a well known fact that Sanjay and Priya have been dating for a while now and they haven't been trying to keep it a secret. If the in laws are on Karisma's side then they need to let her know that there's no point in salvaging her marriage and just divorce the guy.
The wedding they are referring to isnt kareena's - some other wedding in sanjay's family.
Agree with everyone's comments, personalities like karisma arent able to fight for themselves - so she left abhishek on her mom's advice and married a divorcee and look where she is at now.

Terribly sad for Karishma’s kids’...Sanjay is dating another woman. And karishma I don’t know where she is heading .Karishma as a responsible Mom should take care of her children (this is such a hard time for them to see their parents carving up) rather than focusing on wardrobes and appearances of late.
