The monogamy challenge - Rajeev Masand
This week's blind item, courtesy Rajeev Masand It’s no secret that this actress dumped her actor boyfriend when she found out that he’d been fooling around behind her back—not only with a pretty co-star of his, but also with another hot actress he reportedly hooked up with during an overseas awards ceremony weekend. The couple is now back together, after an exchange of many promises of loyalty and fidelity. According to sources close to the couple, their relationship survived another major speed-bump not so long ago, when the boyfriend discovered the actress had been up to shenanigans of her own while they were supposedly together. Story goes that he discovered a series of ‘overfriendly’ SMS exchanges with another actor—one she’d worked with previously, and who was at the time single after a fresh break-up. In fact, there are eyewitnesses who claim to have seen the actress get very cozy with the said co-star at the housewarming ceremony of a third actor. But both stars denied the ‘stories’ vehemently, insisting they were merely ‘good friends’. The actress and her actor boyfriend, who are together currently and don’t bother hiding it anymore, have allegedly sworn to stay faithful to each other hereon. “But cheaters will remain cheaters,” says another A-list actress, insisting that none of their friends believe either can remain monogamous too long. Ouch.

why is it so hard to be monogamous?........are these people(not just actors/ actresses) so weak minded, that they wil let themselves fall for another while being commited to someone......do they not have a conscience that pricks them as they cheat behind thier partners back, hiding in the security of thier partner's absence and ignorance about thier activities?...........do they not feel a pinch of remorse for breaking thier partner's heart causin them such emotional distress with thier extra-marital/ affairs?......i really wonder what kind of weak willed people these are.......
its not so hard to be monogamous when you are someone who knows your limits and really care about how your partner's feel and place their happiness before your own. Someone brought up with good values and ethics always has that voice of conscience that stops them even when presented with much temptation.......i think just a basic strong feeling inside of us to not cause hurt and pain to a loved one, is more than enough to keep us from cheating on our partners....and someone who cant do that is just pure weak and selfish to seek happiness that causes thier so called loved ones emotional distress......
its just the evolving culture these days influenced by the west at large........we now find so many people living in together here in india, having so many affairs etc.......i dont deny that it was present in the olden days too.....but now its just so open and rampant and all the more people that think of this as ok to do at the cost of hurting another........i mean you wouldnt see people of our paretns and grandparents generations being so unfaithful to thier partners as the generation today is.......
i gues in olden times it was more like " fix it if broken"......and now its just " use and throw" or " throw if broken and get a new one"..........sadly applied to relationships too alongwith inanimate things.......god be with those at the recieving end of betrayal.........its not something anyone wants to go through anyway, but put thier loved ones through the hurt......just a little soul searching and genuine care for your partners feelings would help a lot and work things through......

Ranveer did have a thing with Sonakshi during some awards function abroad .The organisers made him perform with Sonakshi on a Band Baja Baraat song which quite naturally pissed of Anushka. Sonakshi was questioned by her dad about Ranveer in the recent Filmfare copy.
Anushka was with Shahid when they met during the shooting of Badmaash Company. He was recently single & ready to mingle after his big break up with Kareena .
