I agree Aishwarya Rai should have been there......No 2 ways about it...Guys pls read it carefully it says "MOst popular Actress" and not "the most "talented actress" Had it been "the most talented actress then Waheeda Rehman Or Meena Kumari Or Rekha Should have won that.. I agree with the result believe it or not guys Madhuri and Sridevi had and still have a major fan following in INdia....No offence to the other actresess....So It had to be Madhuri or Sridevi....Although i still say that Aishwarya should have been included when we are talking about" popularity"
Good one NDTV.......I Guess we indians can't get over Madhuri and Sridevi....Indian cinema is incomplete without them....I am sure had this poll be done in 80's Hema or rekha would have topped it...And i am sure after 15 years if you take this poll again it would be Aish warya, Kareena or Katreena who z going to top it...Becoz "then that" generation will hardly be familiar with Madhuri or Sridevi's contribution to this industry..

sridevi is overratted here.kajol is good in the 4th place...but madhuballa,hema malini are realy unestimated and understated here very much.....finaly madhuri is best...perfect monoply for beauty and dancing talent....ashook kumar is right....he said in the mid 90's that madhuri is the 1st complete actress in 100 years in different angles and ways....

Ash used to be a TERRIBLE actress! Of late she's shown some improvement but still she's AVERAGE at BEST!
And I honestly think this is just one or two people writing about Ash. She doesn't have many fans left now. She'll lose more coz her fan following has been there because of her looks. As she ages people will lose interest in her, and that is already happening. This is because she lacks talent BIG TIME!
Maybe that is why NDTV did not include her.
