Preity Defers Ishkq In Paris For A Third Time; No Release Date Fixed Yet
Preity Zinta, producer of Ishkq in Paris, has decided to defer the film’s release indefinitely. Preity has decided to put the film in cold storage until director Prem Raj, diagnosed with cancer recently, recovers from his illness and completes pending post-production activities. After deferring the release twice in the past, Preity had been working very hard for the film’s promotion and had even roped in Salman Khan for the film’s music launch. Preity has deferred the film’s release for a third time and even a tentative release date has not been fixed yet. The director offered to step back but HT reports that Preity chose to defer the launch instead. With the director indisposed and no release date in sight, there are worries whether the film will be released at all. Fans have always reacted negatively to movies released after repeated delays. Virtually no such movie has done well at the box office. The fate of Ishkq in Paris seems uncertain as the director is leaving for treatment in December and nobody knows when the film will be released, if ever.

The film's story might not sound novel. Hope it's Not like JBJ though (Before Sunrise and Before Sunset were every interesting). Anyway, it would have been nice if the film would have released on time and done well. For PZ's sake. A comeback and doing well as a producer- actress!

I agree with both of these comments. Preity should chalk up the loss and focus on the future. I hope that the director recovers soon whether the movie is released or not.

the film looked so dated anyways so who would want to waste their money watching it.
bad luck preity, but director's health is far more important than any film. wish him a speedy recovery. maybe preity should give up films for now and concentrate on other things.
Hope they find a way to keep people's interest in the film or they're going to lose a lot of money.

its not the end of the world. she can find a nice guy and get married. take a break, have children, enjoy married life and then come back like how Madhuri is doing.
maybe its time to pay attention to personal life. maybe thats what the universe is trying to tell her.
and i am sure she can find nice rich businessman, maybe NRI.. settle down. start a new chapter.
I hope any of the khans to cast her in their movies, shahrukh or salman or saif, then we will remember old preity, it is not their decision i know, it is the directors decission then I hope their directors will do that.
They don't need the director to release the film. The director just needs to approve the editing of the film. I actually feel bad for Preity. She's done well in her roles and I was waiting to her her comeback. IIP seems like a typical rom com but for some reason, I was pinning my hopes on Preity to do something different. Besides that, a lot of her money is stuck in this film. She's just not in a good situation.
