Priyanka deserved a much bigger role in Agneepath - Karan Malhotra
Karan doesn’t deny the criticism he received for the sketchy role Priyanka Chopra played in the film. Some dubbed it half-baked while others thought that the actress was wasted. “Yes, Priyanka deserved a much bigger role ,” he agrees. “I wish I could’ve given her a bigger role. It was extremely kind of her to agree to do it. She knew it was a male-dominated film. But I wouldn’t agree if someone said that the role was half-baked.”

I agree with "Kitty" completely.
Isn't small and half baked the kind of roles most actresses do anyway. They're only props. It's good he noticed but it would be another step if he could make movies with stronger female roles.

Though her role in agneepath was small but it was convincing to me.
but she played her part extremely well much better than other actresses who play all their roles with two nd half expressions.
It does not make sense to make the role longer if does not work with the story. She got what she deserve.

I think the length of her role was fine, when directors make an actor's role longer or shorter to satisfy star egos then that's when the art starts to suffer. The movie is a modern masterpiece and she's a smart lady, she probably is happy to be a part of such a great work. She was wonderful in it, but it is a hero-based movie at the end of the day.
this is pretty unfair. i noticed in don as well. she had such a crappy role. didn't do anything other than looking good. feel bad for female actresses, they r just arm candy in most roles:-(

At least she had a bigger role then what Katrina has in most of her movies (10 minutes roles ) , egs ( New York, Rajneeti, ZNMD), and still people nominate Katrina for the best actress in those guest appearances

now they're somewhat sorry for that? I'm glad PC took on the role without considering how long or short it was, it shows her professionalism- a true actor who's here to act not to show off in 100 of outfits without any substance.

yeah, an actress of her calibre should've been given a longer role but I do agree that her role in Agneepath couldn't be extended or given more intensity to. She did an awesome job nonetheless as Kali.
but i found her really cute.she shines in her small role which very few actorw can do!And her chemistry with sexy hrithik was also superb!
