So while many have been raving about the recently launched Raaz 3 trailer, I couldn't help but spot the striking similarity the film's basic plot and main characters hold to that of the fairytale "Snow White". While Bipasha's character seems to be inspired by the evil queen, Emraan's character seems to be a mixture of the huntsman (who is sent by the queen to eliminate Snow White), the prince (who eventually saves her) and the mirror (who always tells the truth). No prize for guessing that I'll say Esha's character is inspired by Snow White herself!
P.S I'm not insinuating that Raaz 3 is a copy of Snow white. I'm only sharing my observation i.e the basic plot & the main characters seem to be inspired. Apart from that, there's avsolutely no similarity as all of you are well aware that Raaz 3 is a horror film for adults while Snow White is a fairytale for children!
I'd really appreciate if you guys rewatched the trailer and THEN, shared your views on this post of mine!

Bispasha looks wooden.
Yeah they have similarities but I do not think Raaz 3 is inspired from Snow White - the story. I mean it's not a very original story in that sense and the plot of black magic and witchcraft is quite limited.
I wonder if bollywood stars resort to black magic/voodoo in real life, since they have no problem consulting numerologists, astrologists, luckologists, etc....
Are you kidding? Have you read the original Snow White story?! I guess not, clearly it is NOT a fairytale for children. Disney tweaked all 'fairytales' to make them suitable for children. Otherwise they are grim stories.
Okay Avinesh, thanks for clarifying. :)
Disclaimer: I'm NOT talking about the Hollywood film "Snow White". I'm referring to the tale which all of us have certainly heard or read as kids :-)
first i thought what the hell r u talking about but after reading ur interpretation im amused, there is a similarity but its one of good vs. evil
Bipasha better kill it as Charlize. :-)
Lol really? Weren't both films filmed around the same time?
i agree!
Nope!
