Ra.one's ideas lifted from Robot and other Superhero films?
The first 30 second trailer of the much awaited RA.One was released today, but it opened to rather mixed reactions. I found some obvious similarities between many Superhero films and this one. Of all the movies, it seems to have been influenced by the Rajni-Ash starrer 'Robot' (Endhiran) the most. Even months before, media had come out with stories that RA.one is a mishmash of Robot and Toonpur Ka Superhero. OMG! Kareena fans amuse me. in a wrong way. Below average? LMAO. 99% of her films are flops and everyone knows that. Robot is the biggest blockbuster India has ever seen! Even in Hindi, it is the highest grossing dubbed film of all-time. Get your facts checked.
audiance smells rat in 5 seconds. this is full on 30 seconds promo. verdict is out......Ra.one is a flop. it will come out on star plus in 4 weeks from release.

GOOD GOD! Enough already! A superhero film is expected to have certain elements. You haven't even seen 1 MINUTE of the film and you're comparing it to other movies. I live in a big American city, where there is a huge indian population. No one here had even heard of Robot, let alone seen it. I've only seen the trailer of robot- and trust me, I have no interest in torturing myself further by watching the film.
I hate that people aren't even giving Shah Rukh a chance. Have an open mind.

i hate SRK and i hated robot but all superhero films are same,R.one is not a copy....what do you expect from a superhero film...........devdas like romance and emotions,you stupid people!!!
OMG people! this is a superhero film so what else do u expect?? I love hollywood action films but just because I watch one doesn't stop me from watching the others, they all have similarities! And I have never seen shahrukh khan like this so I can't wait. the west love shahrukh so it definitely wont flop in the UK. I cant wait for it, Id rather watch shahrukh than the robot guy any time!

i'm supr excited abt this, but i thnk it has a feel of iron man. but hey, its just a 30 sec promo, i'll keep my eye for the trailer and lets see how similar/diffrent it is.

I didn't like Ra.one's trailer. Loved Robot's trailers. Obviously copying didn't work.
Bollywood is so lame. The remake Hollywood and Tamil/Telugu films to make hits. At least take permission before copying. That's the least you could do. Jeez.

frankly speaking when u compare RA 1 looks way more cool and fun n srk looks like a hot superhero.....robot looks tacky nw n rajni was funnt in d movie
like every superhero movie looks like this, they all follow the same basic, blow up car trends and stuff, people are just too fixated on srk's wrongs. all of a sudden its copying krissh if a superhero leaps?! wtf. thats ridiculous. plenty of superheros leap, give the movie a chance and stop jumping to conclusions.
The promo is meh. I've never been a fan of Bollywood sci-fi, action thriller, etc. I don't think I'm going to watch it unless the ratings are high in most places! And I enjoy reading the lovely comments below. We're all such friendly, sophisticated, and sweet-tempered ladies on this website!
