you have see laada and see how sri modulates each dialogue and comes accross sound evil, stern, scary, whilst with vidya it didn't have that same effect. The way sri says "get out" see how she says get, then lower evilness out, sridevi was just too versatile.
I liked divya, she looked like sridevi a little, but come on, just because she passed away doesn't mean you should compare her to a legend, sri was league above all by the time divya came, she was big film actor at that time.

Thisis sheer injustice to say that Divya would have done better than Sridevi,even i like Divya Bharti but you can never compare her with athe legendary Sridevi.Sridevi and Ladlaa were made for each other.

Everyone has their own ways of acting..different potential. Sri's acting is more powerful & fierce approached while diya was more subtle & collected. Boh superb in their own ways!! No comparison.
I am also a Divya Bharti Fan but Divya cannot be compared to SriDevi,Sridevi is a legend and from the very begining of her carier SriDevi was a fabulous actress and dancer.

Don't you dare say that to someone who is no more.Do you know she was doing 14 films in the year 1993?The year she died?Her stardom was giving Madhuri Dixit,Sridevi a run for their money.She was considered the highest paid actress after Mads and Sri at the tender age of 19.Don't believe me?Check Wikipedia.If she were alive today,she would have been the BIGGEST actress of the Hindi film industry.Even the advent of Aishwarya Rai wouldn't have changed things.BTW,she was younger than Ash.Just saying.

No,Ladlaa can't be complete without SriDevi,she was just superb in the film,Divya Bharti could'nt have done the same atall.

The first picture's comment is a big joke! Who is the people? There was no body better than Sridevi from the year 1983 - 2012. Not a single actress. Divya was a good actress but not the best. Sri was better than her in Laadla and better than all the other actors in the movie. Laadla was all about Sheetal Jetley (Sridevi).

u r right, she definitely gets better place. But I think more better than madhury/sridevi bcoz she's natural beauty, talent, younger than her contemporary actresses.
I have seen the film many times and these videos also,and SriDevi did the perfect acting.Divya Bharti could not do this.

Please,Sridevi was the best choice for Ladlaa.
Sri is way better hands down.... the way she uses her eyes for effect is mashallah... Divya didn't have the maturity to handle this role...
Now that i have watched the movie so many times, i think nobody could have done this role better than Sridevi. It was a solid performance by Sridevi. Divya was too innocent looking for the character throwing her bossy attitude...
sridevi's action was sooooo superior, divya was nice but had lot to learn in terms of acting.
one little gripe is sridevi's tone had that cute accent.

Second video is so nice to see.Its strange that everything has changed in just around ten years.HOst were cute,innocent and fully covered and yet looked so fresh.And now Tv,MOvies evwerything changed and due revealing clothes,false hairs,silicons,cosmetic suregries,lip pluming ,they dont look fresh,natural anymore.
This was a very interesting video to watch, a real treat actually to see how 2 different actresses would play out the same scenes in a film. Of course it's a tragedy what happened to Divya Bharti but in the acting department Sridevi was far far superior.
