Saif Ali Khan eager to send Sara to Oxford, to study law
Apparently, the Pataudi family tradition is to go abroad to continue studies. Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi went to Oxford to learn French and Arabic. His son, the current Nawab of Pataudi, and Bollywood superstar Saif Ali Khan followed in his father's footsteps and went to Winchester College in Oxford after he finished school. Therefore it is but fair for Papa Saif to wish that his daughter Sara Ali Khan continue the family tradition. As per TOI sources, Amrita Singh and Saif are aware that their daughter Sara might join Bollywood in the future. However, as of now Saif is keen that Sara should go to Oxford as is family tradition. An insider says that Saif was in the US when recent reports saying Sara had already signed a film appeared. He was quite upset with this bit of information. The source adds, "Saif will not oppose his daughter's decision to join movies if she so desires. But as of now, he feels that his daughter, who is just 16, should ideally go to a university, finish her education and then move on to films." We hear that Sara is only too keen to follow her Abbu's advice. All the best to her!

well she will end up in Bollywood anyway. she has been on magazine covers and walked the ramp a few times. u know it's happening. it's just a matter of time.
i feel it will be weird that Kareena and Sara are acting at the same time. but i think people will get used to it in some time. no big deal. anyway their roles will be completely different

I remember reading somewhere that Saif didn't contribute to his kids upbringing financially since he got separated from Amrita so I assume his say in this matter will not mean much.

Saif went to School at Winchester,Hampshire England not oxford but he did study in England
I guess the vogue thing to do for these "self-proclaimed" Bollywood actors is to send their kids to pricey schools abroad to have something to talk about at their pretentious parties so, once again, they can compare their children to others. The kids will end up in the cesspool of Bollywood anyway.

How twisted is your mind? If my dad's a big businessman, wouldn't he want me to get formal education before joining him at work? Saif's dad went to Oxford, his sister did her masters' from London School of Economics, Saif himself went to college in England (not Oxford) and him and Kareena have both commented in chat shows that he reads a lot of books on geo-politics and religion. Both Saif and his daughter come from a background that does their schooling. You dimwit!
More like Bebo is feeling insecure that Sara will steal the limelight! Bebo never completed her studies, hence her flamboyant attitude she tries to cover this. No matter how famous,successful one is they will always crave education. Good for Sara she should complete her studies, fulfil her potential and come back better and stronger.

I read an articled referring to Amrita as WIFE and Kareena as MISTRESS instead of WIFE.....when Amrita is EX WIFE and Kareena got in Saif's life much after his divorce and is now married to Saif...Now who do you think pays to get such articles published????
ACtually, all the Ali Khan Pataudi's are educated (in fact Soha and Saba are very highly educated. Soha went to Oxford university and then did postgrad in America. You can actually find youtube videos of her talking as an Oxford alumnus)
Saif went to boarding school and university in England. He might not have been very bright though, to be able to be with Kareena who is incredibly uneducated and really quite an airhead/dumb)
He cannot hypocritically prevent Sara from entering BW (as his own sister is there. but apparently he is not a fan) just like Kareena, whose dad didn't want it, it was her mum who allowed it, i don't think saif will get too much of a say in the matter.
Winchester college is in Winchester, you fools. Law at Oxford requires AAA/+equivalent at A level, and is extremly difficult to get into.

Kareena started around 20-23. I do not think it would be awkward at all, Sara could do teen roles. She should wait 5-6 years, studying abroad would be a great experience for her
Her grandfather actually went to Oxford (for real). I don't think Saif went to Oxford, his father certainly did. Who knows maybe she will follow in footsteps of her grandfather. don't hate.

Shouldn't Winchester College be in Winchester? Shes probaby going to Ruskin College which is in Oxford but is not a part of the University of Oxford. They need to stop confusing the city Oxford with 'the' University of Oxford.
