Salman Khan turns saviour for prisoners
We all know Salman Khan has fans everywhere. However, the fan-base is all set to extend inside huge, tough gates of prisons, too. Apparently, there are lots of prisoners who are languishing in jail despite completing their term. This is because they are unable to pay the fine due. Normally, this would cause their jail term to extend for a longer period than sentenced. However, thanks to our very own 'Tiger' with a heart, they will be freed soon. Salman Khan's Being Human organization has written to jail authorities offering to help inmates who have served their sentence but are still locked up as they cannot pay their fine due. Being Human will submit about Rs 40 lakhs thereby freeing approximately 400 inmates from jails in the state. "In about 63 jails in UP there are 400 such inmates who have completed their jail term but are still inside because they cannot pay fine due to financial problems," Vijay Kumar Gupta, IG (UP) is reported to have told as per TOI.

So how about removing these people who have served their sentences already and putting in Salman Khan in jail instead of them who is walking free and collecting crores after killing a human being!!!???
Everyone makes mistakes....Everyone. Sometimes in the heat of a moment, you do things you regret later on but after serving their due sentence everyone should be given a second chance. Not all people labelled as criminals are bad human beings. I personally know how hard it is to turn your life around after being labelled as a criminal. In the end, just one piece of advice for all Salman hater's "Thou shall not judge".
As we all know, he had a crappy decade in most of the 2000's after tasting success in the 90's. He was all but written off, making substandard movies like Shaadi Kar Ke Phas Gaye Yaar, not even close to being on the same level with what SRK and Aamir were doing. Add to that his bad reputation as a bully, woman abuser, hit-and-run killer, and poacher of Black Bucks and Chingara. Things couldn't have looked much worse for him!
His PR agent Reshma Shetty must have enlisted some very aggressive tactics, she was the one who was credited for turning him from a "zero" into a "hero". I remember post-Veer and before Dabbanngg internet was flooded with tons of aggressive fake IDs full of worship for Salman "God of poor and needy peoples", as if he was the second coming of Jesus Christ. Most of these were written in really broken English, possibly to insinuate that the writers themselves were poor and needy (but still had computers). And I also noticed that a few actors and one actress was agressively targeted online at the same time as we continue to see to this day. This was puzzling, I mean for it to happen so suddenly and after movies like Veer, Yuvraaj, etc, when he was washed up... I could have seen it if this sudden and flood of support came AFTER a success like Dabbanngg, but the timing and intensity was waaay off, not to mention the sheer number of "Salman's Army" that popped up overnight. That started a craze, bandwagon mentality set in, and there we have it! As Dale Bhagwagar, media manipulator and PR agent for Biggg Bosss recently said: "PR are the new Kings"
I found this one in one of the of the posts of pinkvilla and just wanted to put it over here.
Love you salman since 1990...& its Worth it

How about using some of that money to help families of victims of drunken drivers, hit and run criminals.
Salman is able to 'empathize' with the criminals who commit these offences but not their victims?!!
You must be a disgusting human being. How do u sleep at night with all that hate and ignorance?? How do u know he doesn't do anything for them? Stop judging ppl u know nothing about. This guy does things no other so-called actor does for the poor. He doesn't need to give the likes of u a list of all the charity he does.
Prisons should not be filled with minor offenders unable to pay fines. Thats a waste of tax payers money and state resources. This is positive and very "Salman Khan" in character. Leave him be.
I love Salman becouse he thinks about those who are forgotten from everybody, even from their relatives!
Salman is most genuine man in the Hindi Film Industry, his personality makes him like this.

I am sorry it is maybe you are criminal that you can see only bad thing surrounding you, that makes you feel that others are like you!

very easy to guess who you are!

I'm with Naveed, even I'm a law abiding citizen w a respectable job, and I love this man to bits. Haters can hate and hold on to an imaginary past and pretend that there is nothing good in this being just because of what the media prints. Salman has come a long way in a dignified manner and deserves all my respect. Amazing guy.

hey is the past you refer to is "imaginary" then why he has the chinkara case and the hit run case still against him in different courts? in fact the chinkara case has again gained momentum and was in the news recently, if he get convicted, he could go in for up to 10 years and then show his so-called "golden heart" to the criminals inside the jail instead of outside.

You two are the real idiots! You like this guy because what he does in his movies is your secret fantasy!!! Too bad that what he does in his movies is something neither he can do in real life nor you. But if you like him in real life too despite his criminal past and despite the fact that he has two cases running in Indian courts still against him (the chinkara case and the hit and run case), then you are actually even bigger idiots!!!
just want to know why we must know that, all charities do that but salman exaggerrates showing what his charity does, must we know every move of his charity and also we know how much money he donates with,I never saw that in my life,is this must be called good work, this is what makes some salman fans love him ,this pretending and he even says he donates a percentage of his profits to needy people, that is really bad that some people find this good work
LOL good one @ Mon, 2012-08-27 15:05 — Naveed

I am perfectly educated, in a respectable job and a law abiding citizen and YES I am a Salman Khan fan. So you have just proved what an IDIOT you are by making such a comment.
I am not surprised that criminals are his fans!!!
HE IS DOING GOOD
To each his own, that's Salman's choice.
It's a noble cause because if those prisoners have truly turned a new leaf, they do deserve a chance to revive their lives positively. Salman has gone through similar ordeals in the past and can empathize with them. I think it's nice of him to consider.
I think the money should be spent elsewhere...
That's so great. Salman is amazing :)
So nice to hear but i hope those prisoners won't repeat those crimes again
