Shahrukh, Amitabh & Kareena make the list as most talked about celebrities
To find out who made the maximum news in the first quarter of this year, Eikona, a division of TAM Media Research conducted a study based on the number of print clippings. Number 1 spot went to actor Shahrukh Khan who has been grabbing headlines for his off-screen activities. SRK made the news with for his link-up with a co-star, co-hosting an awards ceremony, owning a cricket team and the slapgate incident with a filmmaker. Brand SRK is closely followed by actor Amitabh Bachchan, who was written about for his abdominal surgery, becoming a grandfather to Aaradhya, being the brand ambassador of Gujarat and last but not the least, comparision with actor Hrithik Roshan for Agneepath. Bolly hottie Kareena Kapoor makes it to the number three position with her films Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Agent Vinod and rumours of her engagement with beau Saif Ali Khan. Rohini Iyer, who handles half-a-dozen filmstars, including Kareena, says, “We position talent but at the end it’s up to the celebrity to keep up to that image and we are excited that Kareena has made it to the top three.”

Are you kidding me??? Just cause Ra.One got negative reviews doesn't mean it was a flop. It was a hit in India and HUGE hit overseas! And what about Don 2? Another 100 crore+ super hit from SRK!!! So give me a break with he doesn't have a hit. Of course he has two huge back to back hits. Before them My Name is Khan was super hit in India and a blockbuster overseas! That makes it 3 back to back hits! And before that Rab Ne Bandi Jodi was another super hit in India and a blockbuster overseas! That makes it 4 back to back hits! Do you want me to go on??? Like seriously some people just come a write crap and make fool of themselves in the process, cause what they write is so far from the truth!

no unfortunately i'm not kidding you..he himself Srk said it in iifa i guess or some awards event that people saw everything about ra.one but not the tickets, it was a flop..it dint cover what was spent on it..hes not considered as one of the 3 top actors and his movies are not doing as good as the others, they are far away ahead from him..its you whos making fool of yourself

Kareena is not the most talked about celebrities and when is Amitabh the most talked about celebrity? I think ash and SRK were most talked about celebrities ever since the beginning of 2012. Ash for gaining weight and SRK was due to his alleged affair with Priyanka. There is no full stop to this rumors. I believe its SRK's fault partly because he never spoke over this issue clearly. If the rumors were not true, then why has it become so difficult for SRK to lash out at the media for making up false stories like the others stars do. He has every right to ask for his privacy.

as he is not trivial to reply to such a dirty rumour,he respects his wife,he did not want to degrade her by replying to such a rumour as his love for her does not need an affirm,it is certain and known,who is this pryanka and he replied to this rumour by appearing with pryanka and then gauri a few days later
Salman's been low key this year and is shooting for two films simultaneously while srk is self promoting himself one controversy after the other, poor soul

what would be interesting to see is how all these popular stars today like srk, kareena, salman fair when they reach 70..... doubt any of them will even continue in their 50's....yet get anywhere near 70 and have even an inch of what Bachchan has! That is what separates from the REAL AND ONLY SUPERSTAR....to the "here today gone tomorrow" ones.

Who clipped out these "clippings" and whose scrapbook are they glued in to? LOL... surely there are more scientific ways to determine these things but unfortunately the PR firms conducting these "studies" don't take the readers to be very smart.

shah rukh doesn't surprise me with this ongoing PC affair, but amitabh and kareena do since neither have been in any major controversy. I would though PC due to SRK affair would be most talked about bollywood heroine.

Kareena for what? That is a huge lie. The media keeps pushing Kareena down people's throat and that still hasn't made her iconic and that is because she is just mediocre. It is obvious now that she will never be iconic because the media has done all it can but their effort hasn't taken her dear. Hopeless case!
