Your pick for India's Next Top Model host ?
The recent news doing the rounds is that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Deepika Padukone have been approached to host/judge India’s Next Top Model(The Indian version of America’s Next Top Model ). Supermodel Tyra Banks held this position in the American reality show. Though Ash and Deepika have been approached for the show, I doubt they will do it! Deepika seems to be quite busy with her movies and Aishwarya with her baby. The precondition for this position seems to be that she needs to be a model. So I am throwing this question for you guys - Who is your pick for India's Next Top Model host? My absolute favorite for this position is Sushmita Sen followed by Priyanka Chopra. Yours?

It's definitely a good point that the "top models" on this show (in India) would likely want to join Bollywood! So why don't they make it "India's Next Top Heroine" instead? That would be more in line with the tastes of the Indian audience anyway! The prize would be a launch in a prestigious big banner film, and the audience would flock to the cinema to see the winner, if they're good. That show would be kind of awesome right? ;)
I completely agree with you. I think this idea better suits India than the top model think. Since Mehr almost all 'models' just want a big break in bollywood.
Sushmita is a true model... she has the class for that kind of show.

Sushmita absolutely. I think she would be a good host. However, many actors who turn host do not really have any formation and they end up with a hybrid of the two. If she acquires training as a presenter, production, the logistics etc, Im sure she will be brillantly. I mean come on you just have to look at her runway walks and you know she has the X factor

In America, Tyra only brings celebrities on as guest judges, her panel is usually made up of people in the fashion industry like former supermodels, famous photographers, runway coaches, magazine editors and such.

Sushmita! I feel she will be more relatable to the girls and probably more down to earth and not fakey!
Sushmita sen would be perfect...she fits in this type of role pretty well knowing she comes from a modeling lifestyle.
