Aamir Khan promotes "Satyamev Jayate" on Star Plus serial "Diya Aur Baati Hum" sets
I must say i really respect how Aamir put all himself in his projects...I'm really looking forward for this show...and I must say that it's such a clever choice to promote the show in DABH...i don't watch it but this show is the number one in the TRPs!

I love diya aur baati hum... for me DABH & EHMMBH are the best shows...

Hate these regressive shows and yes agree with the comment below that they portray weak women who take abuse instead of showing empowered women who can get the hell out and become independent, these shows advocate domestic violence. We need more strong independent females to be shown in dramas and thus role models for naive girls out there
@zenny.. I have to tell I read ur comment of IPKN for the holi episode and I was like what is this show about and I started watching it only b/c or u, and have to tell u, girl I am hooked. I of course then watched it all from the begining and I am on episode 114.. and I also watch the new ones daily.. i luv it!!

This is one of the worst serials.
One day while browsing channels I bumped into this. There was one whole episode dedicated to "Kachre Ka Dabba"
Imagine this - Saas - "Bahu tune ghar mein kachhre ka dabba toh la liya - ab yeh bata Pant-Shirt kab se pahen rahi hai. Silwa to diya hoga tune - Lekin pehenna toh hum buddah-buddhi ke marne ke baad"
Transalation - Mother In law- "Now that you have brought in the dustbin - let me know when are you starting to wear western clothes. I am sure you have them in your closet. But you may wear them - when I am dead"

I too love watching both these desi soaps. And yes, IS PYAAR KO is one of my favs. loooove Arnav. And yes, DABH mainly for Sooraj too. hahahaa
iss pyaar ko kya naam doon is a unique show....love it....diya aur bati is saas bahu type n hate it....
This show is so stupid and backward. Everyone in that house just tortures the new bahu. But the bahu is equally dumb. She's well educated and could easily get a good job and leave that hell hole of a household but just sits there with a constipated face taking all the abuse.

Thats actually my favorite show ...i ritually watch kushi-aarnav ...im in love with aarnav! lol and my mom watches alll the soaps so i watch em w. her ...i sometimes watch saathiya, defi watch iss pyaar and diya bati cuz it comes in the AM when im getting ready for work! lol but diya baati is like reg saas bahu shows... i only watch is cuz of suraj lol

I agree zenny ... he genuinely seems so interested in people from all walks of lives! ... And i love this show.... Suraj is my fave <3
