It seemed they had arguments during shooting of lagaan where reena was co producer.She would keep interfering between amir and ashutosh and they did not like it.
Amir keeps in touch with reena most likely only because of children and he does not want to be known as a bad dad.Amir married her when he was 21.
If reena wants to get back at amor , she must groom one or all of her children to be a better actor than amir khan.
I guess amir khan has left all his bitterness behind after taking sharukh's number one spot!Nothing else makes him happier than that.
Obviously Reena datta is a good woman, she stands her ground and didn't make a big fuss about ammir leaving her, SHE IS very strong woman, and it seems like aamir is a good man to stay in good terms with her, it seems like they had a happy marriage after all, because they look like good friends,. honestly it's hard to stay in terms with your ex.

Whatever the reasons for their split, it's evident they've put it behind them. Very classy and I'm sure their children are better for it.
They are on good terms now but back during and after the divorce it was very bitter. Aamir was a big time cheater like Tiger Woods and even fathered a child with a white woman.
I guess Aamir has matured and now they can appear at events politely.

my ex hubby and i get along fine we have 2 kids together we even go on holiday with his gf and my present hubby...you just have to do these things and make sacrifices for kids once they are involved even us divorcing was a mutual agreement so no hard feeling.
