Get your facts right before shooting off on your keyboard. Kiran did NOT break up Aamir's marriage to Reena. She re-entered his life only AFTER his marriage had broken up, the divorce through.

During the Lagaan shooting in first half of 2000, Kiran was simply an employee , one of Ashutosh's assistants. Reena was the executive producer, she and Aamir had a room together in the temporary residential block make-shift 'hotel' at Bhuj. Their marriage was very much on, they even celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary together on april 18 2000 --read the book about the making of Lagaan, The Spirit of Lagaaan, a fabulous book written by 'Lagaanite' Satyajit Bhatkal, Aamir's school friend, lawyer, close associate (and currently director of Satyamev Jayate).

Aamir and Kiran have talked about their limited interaction on the sets of Lagaan. He borrowed her silver earrrings for use in Lagaan, since he could not get exactly what he wanted ( for his character's look). Apparently he used the 'baalis' for Lagaan, and did not bother to return them. Later down in 2000, on the sets of DCH, in Goa, Kiran was a temporary employee, as casting director. She asked Aamir if she could have her silver baalis back. Aamir and Reena went into town and came back with two pairs for Kiran.

In 2002 Reena and Aamir even went on a holiday to the US, post the Oscars. They tried holidays, counselling, yet by Dec 2002, they were divorced.

Aamir got to see the children only during weekends and holidays. The man apparently started doing something he'd never done before--have hard drinks through the week, till weekend, when he had his children's company. During this period of misery, Kiran re-entered his life, as assistant in Ashutosh's company--which was making Coca Cola commercials, in conjunction with aamir's company; he also starred in these commercials.

Whatever, Kiran slowly became a part of his life. Reena was also said to be comfortable with the idea of a known Kiran being part of his life--since the kids were spending more and more time with him. In any case they all live close to each other, in separate homes, like an extended joint family. Reena apparently lives in a bungalow on a back lane to Aamir's apartment block. Her kids are with her, her parents nearby--and Aamir's parents and sisters still treat her as their family member. She is there at id, marriages. funerals...photographed , not hiding anything. Kiran gets respect, but so does Reena.

Give Aamir credit for having a civilized divorce, a life where all get their respect. And Aamir truly respects women, his mother being his favourite person. His younger sis is still married to Reena's bro--and as per media reports--they all seem at peace with each other.

Aamir would not dare to make a satyamev jayate if he could not face truths in his own life.

Neha Dhupia looks amazing, what a lovely dress. Neha has a skill in putting together great looks. She rarely gets it totally wrong.

I can't fault anything in Kiran's appearance, but somehow this look just isn't her. When she wears quirky stuff, she really makes it work, as long as it isn't over the top. This sari is too soap star-ish for my taste.

Sonali looks fine, but nothing to write home about.

Why are people so sick... as if they acted as Aamir's and Reena's marriage counselors? They had some prob and broke up. Simple. Reena still is on very good terms with Aamir. Get a LIFE people.

Kiran Rao looking prettiest among all the ott made up glam dolls. I have always wondered what it is about Kiran that Aamir married her. It is becoming clear Kiran is quite like Kajol in personality more than looks. Kiran is very real, no fake or pretense bs. Aamir is Lucky indeed.

To the person who commented about Kiran Rao wearing a saree bcoz western outfit does not suit her. Well my dear isn't the whole point to wear your clothes and don't let your clothes wear you? She has the sensibility to wear what suits her and not follow fashion blindly and end up looking horrendous like each & everyone of the stars dressed in western outfit. Are they all going to a ball? Please the stars should realize they do not have a body for carrying dresses, except of course for a few exception like Karishma Kapoor.

Someone please help these stars see the reality of their ugliness in outfits not meant for them!

To all those praising Kiran Rao for wearing a sari, have you ever seen her in a western outfit??? No, cause she knows she will look awful in them and that is why she doesn't have one either...so stop praising her as if she had a lot of western choices she would look good in but she chose a sari...she didn't have a choice!
