I saw recently saw silsila the movie you are talking about, yahs chopra wanted a different cats but amitabh suggested jaya and rekha eben though the rumouirs were rife about his affair..actors do anything for mileage and publicity..too bad amitabh the film was a flop!

it is pretty well known that rekha and he had an affair and believe it or not they actually made a movie out of it with them as characters where jaya is his wife and rekha as the woman he is having affair.
