Gorgeous!!! she may have gained a little weight.......but no-one can doubt her sublime features-narrow nose-oval face-high cheekbones-cupid bows shaped full pouty lips-green-grey massive eyes!.......she looks great! love the dress-suits the climate!!
Ironically this is the classiest I've seen her look ever. The clothes are stylish and understated. Her hair is shiny and dark not her usual burnt to a crisp red mess, and she did something to her skin that makes it look amazing. She lifted her face or something. you can see it on the lines around her mouth. They are tighter and her cheeks have been plumped up right next to them giving her a different appearance to her face. She looks sullen, perhaps because of the loss she suffered recently. I hope it's not because she's heavy. I want to believe she's not that shallow.
In saying all that I have to say I dislike this woman that most I ever have. When she did the media blitz ( and don't think for a minute she didn't have a hand in it) about her weight that was it for me. I can't stand her fans because they are vicious, vile and dumb. But, what's worse is that this woman used her fans to garner sympathy for her weight gain, and to soften the blow just before her appearance. All the articles said her fans were the ones bashing her in India etc. Everyone knows that's malarky. People wake up she doesn't care about you. Just like when she lied she never did skin lightening endorsements. It's all about her, not you.
you can see her real skin color in the last picture (through all the white makeup) and she is definitely very average looking with brownish/tannish skin. i highly agree with the other posters here that she played her cards very well and at the right time to gain recognition, not to mention a highly-active and cunning PR team.

India was waiting with baited breath for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s appearance in Cannes 2012 after motherhood.
"What will Ash wear, how will she look?", etc was being discussed at almost every drawing room in India.
There was intense and unfair criticism on her so called "weight gain" issues post motherhood in the local and international media.
We were expecting her to do an Armani, Elie Saab or some other Indian designer. But she surprised us all.
Your outstandingly beautiful creation saved the day and all her “imperfections” suddenly became perfect.
She was glowing and looked ethereal to state the least. The country fell in love with her all over again!
She looked super confident and ready to take on her critics and that dress helped her to make that statement in a big way. All her detractors are now searching for excuses.
Your brand has now become a household name in India overnight and deservedly so.
Thanks a lot Angelo Katsapis for creating that sensational dress and saving our Ash!

She is not a new mom.its been 7 months!! and the international media was actually making fun of India's most beautiful woman as well ,how she could not live up to the expectations how is she compared to VB.in most articles they simply stated that she made a career based on her look...do you think its a compliment!! most of the comments were like ...what the hell if she is bullied back in her country..its not even our issue!! and I believe it was her PR otherwise if she is so darn famous abroad why an introductory paragraph(s) in every article telling the world who she actually is!!as if they are reminding the world..oh we have a most beautiful woman..dont forget her please and she is going to attend Cannes!! but of course you need to have a brain to understand this not a fanatic mind!
