Amy Jackson walks the ramp for Bhairavi Jaikishan
Amy Jackson walks the ramp for Bhairavi Jaikishan at Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2012. More on Pallavi Jaikishan's collection: From the studios of Bhairavi Jaikishan came a collection that will delight the traditional Indian woman. Called “The Sensuous Woman”, Bhairavi’s line at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2012 was a range of clothes that luxuriously skimmed the body and flattered the silhouette of the wearer. Known for her very international look, which she gives cleverly to Indian ensembles, Bhairavi’s forté is her use of embroideries and contemporary treatment. Using a rainbow of colours, Bhairavi had a stunning bridal collection, which will appeal to the elegant Indian woman who wants to make that show stopping entry anywhere in the world. Starting with ivory, pale pink, peach, blue, lemon, yellow and then moving on to stronger shades like fuchsia, turquoise, orange, tangerine, rani pink, mango and finally red the visual presentation of the collection was breathtaking with super embroidery created by master craftsmen. Working around the sari, lehenga, choli, lehenga/sari combo and dupatta, Bhairavi presented myriad permutations and combinations in colours and embellishments using resham, sequins, crystals, gold and silver Zari. The predominant fabric was net while the motif was floral with roses appearing as appliqués, 3D embroidery on broad borders, splashed all over the garments or in pretty bouquets with artistic swirls accompanying the designs. Cholis were tiny dainty, some with draped bodices while the two very splendid gold corsets worn over the sari pallav opened the show. Ornate silver cummerbunds were added to slim waistlines or hips and long tantalising tassels edged a red sheer net dupatta with a rich brocade lehenga. The show stopper was beautiful Amy Jackson, star of the film “Ekk Deewana Tha” who gracefully emerged on the ramp in a magnificent silver lehenga/choli and red dupatta to thunderous applause. For bridal wear that will make a woman the envy of all, “The Sensuous Woman” collection by Bhairavi Jaikishan was definitely heirloom worthy.

Ah well.....white girls are beautiful...."
--------------------------
Think twice before saying that again! True beauty belongs to Asians/Arabs. From femininity, to
beautiful features, such as large almond shaped eyes, full eyebrows, full lips.. and thick hair perfect skin health and tones and curvy bodies!
The evidence for this lies that westerners are inspired by Asians by copying their type of make (Kajal, red lipstick etc) and suntanning themselves!!!!!!! BE PROUD TO BE AN ASIAN!!!!!!!!!!!
wowowowo i love u dear
Sat, 2012-03-03 23:20 — Anonymous: they should all be welcome.. but the dynamics are not equal.
Out in the West, women of color (Freida, et all-- even Aishwwarya) have limited roles and struggle. Even Halle Barry does (a superstar). They are not taking over white people's roles.
but in the East, foreigners who happen to be white (not black) capatalize on the fairness preference== take over desi jobs-- and actually get a lead-- without being citizens and without often contributing back ot India.
Ok, let's get to the point:
if she was Indian-- and had Indian values-- she would be the next Aishwarya Rai. isn't that the success of Aishwarya-- the fair beauty with the light eyes who looks 'Western' but is all a simple Indian?
Well, based on that... why not bring the foreigners over-- give them a tan-- color their hair black-- and let them rule Bollywood. why not? train them in Indian culture, and you can have 1000's of Aishwarya s all over the Bollywood world.
this is the taste the public wants... no one wants the dusky/browned eyed Indian belle anymore, do they?
she's miss uk'10 winner
Lol, the models seem upset about being overshadowed by Amy.
Ah well.....white girls are beautiful....
Say what you will about Amy, she's a firangi, she does not belong in Bollywood, but you can't deny she's naturally gorgeous. Her looks is what all Bollywood actresses strive to get, perfect fair skin, beautiful big light eyes, perfectly symetrical face.
why do they always choose actors or actresses for the "show-stopper" ??? i mean, why r those models for ???
mast giralllllllllllllllll
Blame Katrina for all these wanna-bes.
The new Aishwarya Rai !
To the peraon commenting on firangs invading bollywood. If freida pinto, dev patel, even your pride of india, aishwarya rai is welcomed to hollywood with open arms, why can't you people do the same? we need to be more accepting of peoplr regardless of race or color. Stop being so backward and start embrqcing the positive changes around you because unlike you, no one really cares anymore.
she's not pretty. and doesn't look indian, because she isn't indian. and can't speak hindi. there's only one other reason she's actually in bollywood...."producer's actress" maybe?
this is the least make up i've ever seen her in. she's usually plastered so much that her look on a runway looks more moderate.
I don't like her! We don't need stupids like her when we have Rani, Vidya, Madhuri, Sreedevi.....
she looks so b'ful in indian outfits . have never looked so beautiful in western dress and her "semi-nude" pics. She need to stay in bwood :P
Stunning girl I love her
is she indian? because, she doesnt look Indian, her complexion and ofcourse her features are so not Indian
The models look stunning, Amy looks like the common country girl she is...
Her skin looks awful.
Pretty but different when I see her close ups! She dyed her hair to a lighter color, nice. And I'm LOVING her sari!! So delicaded.
the cut of the blouse is such that her assets are partly sticking out
amy looks pretty in saree.period
She's beautufull with the minimalist make up, but her accent is really annoying..
HAWT!!more gorgeous than aisha n katrina
This sari is not her style...google abt Amy Jackson and see how she has posed before..semi nude. Dun pretend here Amy!!!
The other Indian models would have been thinking "What the &*%#???"
But I would say Amy just carried herself beautifully than those tacky models. Haahah
Look at all these useless firangs making their way into Bollywood.. Jeez!
These foreign white chicks should get lost from our country, India is just so fair obsessed I hate it
