Hmmm Id have to agree she looks best without the weight. She looked pretty shabby (compared to what she can look like when in good shape) at Cannes. She had to wear control pants for one and her face is so small that when she gains weight, it gets crowded and her features dont stand out as much.

She's a pretty gal, but really, she needs to take control of what she is wearing, not only to Cannes but everywhere, afterall, it's an image that she is selling and she is the product. She needs to master her best features.
From other photos, it appeared that the dress isn't all that grand, and something could have been done to the back to accentuate her best assets and hide the ones that raise some eyebrows. Also, I think it would help that if you're going to reveal some part of your body, whether it's the back or the some of the bosom, or legs, at least work on getting that area ready, in other words, workout...
