Anonymous on Sun, 2009-10-11 02:23: so agree with you.. it takes a lot of grace to have confidence and stand tall against the big-society people. esp cosidering she's getting about 2% support from her own desi community.. and quite a lot of nasty flak.

Another thing people should recall is that she was never a nobody in Mumbai. (Not that anyone is a nobody, everyone is a someone). She was a model then (albeit not successful). People act like she's a street girl from Mumbai or something.. her sister Sharon Pinto is a TV producer and parents part owners in the Palace of Asia chain. She was starring in her sister's TV show-- so she must have learned about presentation there. She never bragged about her past and that's a big plus for her.

Bottom line is she's a go-getter who gets her confidence from inside-- something which Femina mag teaches -- -but here she is doing it all in action. Beliving in herself-- and she's a beauty too.

I think it is amazing she is going to such wonderful places and getting such wonderful opportunities. It is very daunting and scary to be a simple girl from bombay one day and suddenly have to meet so many rich and famous people in such a short time. Happy to see she is doing it with grace and style. kudos!

look maybe the bottom part of the dress is like ruffles, but thats in fashion know, and how many of you think you can pull this look off. she is gorgeous and has striking features she does not need green or blue eyes to be considered gorgeous.

So glad that the frou-frou high modelling designers are recognizing a true beauty which is Freida. they have good taste.

And she's more than pretty- she's beautiful. if you or your friends choose to think otherwise, that's fine. we'll find her beautiful.

Freida is full of surprises. this is the first time she's putting out that very cold look-- and she looks beautiful doing it. her 'trademark' is sunny and fresh.. but she can do distanced-cool sullen look very beautifully too. what a great model... wow!!

she needs to get all snobby like she looks in the 2nd last photo. that makes her look more distanced- like she deserves to be. too much smile smile makes her a target for bashing by her own kind. she needs to be a MEAN QUEEEN... and get ANGRY at all the nasty stuff thrown on her. she needs to tell the world she has a college education.. her sis is a tv producer.. school principle madre and busines owners.. so desis who are going lucky lucky : BACK OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Freida has the best natural nose among the Bollywood crowd: it's neither flat or hooked.. very nice upturned nose profile.. very delicate nose. guess that's what gives her face a less stronger look and more of a delicate pixie charm.

it's so sad that so many desis of her own kind choose to berate her at every step she takes and makes. she never got any support from lots of desi fans or anything.. but then she seems to get confidence from within. it's so cool.
