I am asked to submit my comments on Nanda. I am amazed that great as she is could be commented upon as she herself is a ocean and her heights are unfathomable. She is so glamorous, gorgeous full of serene beauty accompanied by fragrance of spring meadows which cannot be held back from spreading. Her creator has been very generous to grace her with all finest biological chemistry and spiritual virtues. However, having been obsessed with her fabulously, I cannot refrain from expressing some of my thoughts about her.
She is the most outstanding actress I have ever watched. Recently after watching some of her films, I have developed very strong and intense liking for Actress Nanda. When watching Mehndi Lagi Meray Haath movie, I came to watch madhur song - Kankariya Maarey Kar key Isharey. This madhur song lost me in golden years of my life of 1961 when I was 14 years school going boy and used to very fondly listen this then famous song as at that time there were only radios and no TVs. Nanda while has travelled 73 stages of her life, I have reached 65 in this way made me young. She is thus an actress of all ages and times, eternal, never to become old or of yesteryears and never to recede in delusion of grandeur in the splendor of which she has all through lived and remembered. Nanda is an actress who is seldom born and once born become eternal. Nanda in fact had already become a legend in a very young age by her outstanding performance in famous movie Choti Behan (song - Baghoan main baharoan main Gungunata aiya koi). Even earlier she had got herself acclaimed of her exceptional stupendous talents in movie Bhabhi (songs - Chali Rey Patang Meri Chali Rey & Tie Laga Key Mana Ban Gaiey Janab Hero...) She has given so much that stars of the stature of Jetendra, Shashi Kapoor and Anjahani Rajesh Khana owed her a lot for their ascendanency to become great. She is therefore, non imitable, unparallel, legend of the legends and a goddess.
She is so great that in fact I fail to find words to truly describe her. I highly adore Great Nanda and strongly wish I could write a book on her as some service to this great star. I however, feel deeply saddened to know that Nanda who all through sprinkled all around smiles and joys herself had a tragic life.

If I understand correctly from left to right - (1) Nanda in white; (2) Waheeda Rehman in brown; (3) Helen in Blue & (4) Sadhna in Pink. Please confirm. We know in this sansar, sharir is mortal and decay is inevitable howsoever gorgeous or glamorous one may be without exception. Sharir though ours but still not in our control and bound to perish. However, our aatma keeps on galvanizing with every passing day, never decays and immortal. All the four are splendor and adorable. 4 beautiful women of their time!!! I wonder how they used to look extremely beautiful without any plastic surgeries . Not only these ladies all of the other actresses were extremely beautiful . No one matches them.No aish,pretty,deepika madhuri or shridevi. These ladies are way higher than any of these (current) bollywood actresses. Love them

I guess the NI older women find salwars to be more modest and easier to wear than a sari. In the South, older women wear only saris.

I think they would look way nicer in sarees. This "salwar kameez' does not look great on anyone unless the figure is great. Either there has to be a revolution in "salwar kameez" tailoring or no one should wear it unless one has a perfect figure. Sarees are the way to go people!

Cant believe that I am seeing sadhana. perhaps this is her only old age picture on internet. After she was diagnosed with some thyroid problem she retired from acting and never appeared on camera saying she wants people to remember as a beautiful woman. she is equally beautiful now.

Nanda is recognizable but Sadhna OMG I thought she was so prettyyyy whatever happened to her she doesn't even look like herself. All yesteryears actresses watching a movie together. CUTE. Sadhnaaaa was so prettyyyy what happened!? She doesn't look like herself though .... I was easily able to recognize Nanda but I could have never been able to recognize Sadhna if her name was not listed in this post.

second picture the one in tan salwar is KRISHNA RAJ KAPOOR...wife of raj kapoor, grandmother of kareena. By the way, SADHANA is aunt of BABITA, kareenas mother. she had hyperthyroidism and popped out eyes...so her looks deteriorated over time

No one can stop aging... one can take temporary steps like Botox.. prime examples being Rekha, Hema Malini and Sridevi.
