YOU IGNORANT ONE. North indian customs are not the only customs in India. I hope you studied in your geography classes in school that there is south india with 4 diff states, eastern part of india with diff states and western india too. Just b'coz Ash and Shilpa were loyal enough to stick to there customs, it does not make them any less a bride.
Actually Esha Koppikar too belongs to a similar culture like Ash and Shilpa. She shld have worn her own regional dress to her wedding than being psuedo and following something which is not your own.

your ignorance baffles me, our country is so diverse with so many unique cultures...just because shilpa and ash don't fit into your filmi stereotype of a what a bride should look like dosen't make them less bride like!!! They belong to a different community (Bunts from South Kanara) where brides are dressed a certin way for ages....let them be....and compliment the bride in this post.
