Freida Pinto was one of the presenters at this year's Golden Globe Awards. I like the hair and makeup, but the Prada dress is too overwhelming on her.

The only person I see slumming here is you. People talking back to themselves? Don't project on to other people what you have been doing to disparage this woman by writing multiple posts and pretending to be several people. I can bring Aishwarya into this post if I please. She sucks in every way possible failed in Hollywood and no one is calling her nasty names. I think it's time you give it a rest. People see right through you.
.

What?! Multiple posts? I have only written one post and you just attacked me for it.So what if people see Freida as a slummer? So what? What I said was correct and nobody here in the states really cares for this girl. We have hotter looking ladies in Hollywood than her so I have no idea what you have been talking about. You have some mental problems. Sheesh you are so creepy and obessive. Don't you have anything better to do then troll on celebrity forums? Mental girl.

Talking back to youself ? Give it a rest, you ain't fooling anybody. Oh please do not bring Aishwarya Rai into this. She has nothing to do with this topic at all. I heard in America they still prefer their Angelinas and Scarjos over Freida"Slum Girl" Pinto anyday.

there are other people who don't find her attractive and have made racist remakrs about her skin coloring and ethnicity, not just indiansI know some of my white freinds who thought she looked like an ape and was unattractive when we saw rise of the planet of the apes movie. so you seem to think all the whites are the nice ones and we indians are the nasty ,mean evil ones. sorry you are greatly mistaken.

so you are friends with white people who make nasty evil racist (to use your own words) about a fellow Indian. WOW!!!!!!

''Its OK to not like Freida's looks, acting, accent or attitude. But the hateful comments like beggar, cleaning lady (which I suspect comes from a single person) makes us as Indians look ignorant, uneducated and racist. In upper class white circles making such comments in public about darker skinned or lower class people is a big no no and is a sign of vulgarity.
It also makes people sympathetic to Freida. The reason I comment every time even though I think I will not is that I get insulted when I hear such comments for a girl with similar skin tone, background to me. Think happy people!''

Oh my gosh...absolutely EVERYTHING you said is exactly what I think. I never comment on PV but get drawn into defending Freida because of the sheer ugliness of some readers on here with their insulting and highly embarrassing behaviour. Also ditto with everything about the beggar stuff, and Indians making such comments publicly.

How can you expect the world to take India seriously as a contender to be the most developed nation and thriving economy in the near future if the rest of the world hear us make such garbage, disparaging and hateful comments about our own compatriots who become successful?

I completely agree with the both of you. The one nasty immature person with their low class remarks is such an embarrassment to themselves and Indians. No one says you have to like her but why bring up class issues? News flash, poor people can be beautiful too, especially in India. Why do you think they are relegated to do the cleaning etc? Keep them in line, so the fat, white middle class women like Aishwarya can look down their noses at them. Sorry, Freida's in America now, different game, different rules. Nothing you can do about it. Aishwarya was sent home, where she can continue to be worshipped.

excuse me? I'm not from india or living there, do you really think I am making that up? about my white freinds saying freida looked like an ape when we went to see rise of the planet of the apes? yeah and your from australia , lets go with that. jesus why are you calling me uneducated? atleast I don't pretend to be from australia and have written 29 out of the 30 posts here. in case you haven't noticed but everyone jokes about their ethnicity with their freinds, people joke around and say racist and derogatory stuff about other people's races all the time.I don't know where you come from but most certainly not australia or any first world country for that matter.

I am one more person speaking out against the unacceptable words spoken by some people ....probably just one person .....against Freida. I am no fan either tho I think Freida is gorgeous and has a great sense of style but I am just appalled by the name calling and sheer hatred of some people on PV. It's good to know there are a lot of us who are speaking out against this.

ummmm... I am a Freida supporter from Australia. There has to be one more person. I am not related nor am I a crazy fan. But the crazy haters embarrass me as an Indian, so I try to reply in a decent way. The comments you make prove you are an Indian from India. No "white friend" will call Freida an ape in the presence of an Indian. That would be career destroying comment. If you are a student you may get expelled for making racist comments. That you don't know this proves you are an Indian from India and not very educated to boot. Your statements prove you are not who you pretend to be. WIll PV publish this? WHo knows. Many of my comments are not published, but the gobawali ones always are.

I heard the dresses comes back smelling like curry lol.

This girl is probably using skin lighteing cream to look white. I wouldn't be supirsed if she is. Not to mention she fakes an accent to be more like the euros so she has some issues with being indian.

Anonymous's picture

There has to be one person behind all the Freida loving comments.Tell me who are you ? Freida's mom/dad/sister/cosuins/dev patel? Freida is a small time star in hollywood, not some A-lister who gets invited to these things all the time, she wasn't even included in some of the best/worst dressed list polls. No one will miss her if she goes away. Enough with your preaching!

if freida pinto was as white as snow I would still not find her attractive. it's her features thats average ,not her skin coloring. there are other people who don't find her attractive and have made racist remakrs about her skin coloring and ethnicity, not just indians. chikni chameli etc are what actresses in India wear for a ROLE in a movie for which they get paid buckets full of cash..it is a professional commitment....check out what Erin Wasson wore out of her own free will and choice to the golden globes where she represented herself and not some role in a movie... That is what i meant when i said vulgar...

Anonymous's picture

Indians come in all shapes and sizes and skin color. It's wrong to assume that we are all dark skinned and wish we were white.Freida herself assumes these things and talks ill of indians. I am sorry but who made her a star in the first place ? How does she know that all 1.2 billion people there are" fascinated with white skin". She is not a big enough star to throw her weight around like that and cause a stir for no reason. I find it funny how no one questions why she is famous. They know she had a 15 min role but never questions what she did so great to get this much attention.
