This woman is messed up. I think she needs help. Look at her face- if one were to see her in real life, she would look like a clown. The others must be laughing...
I also believe she only has a few sarees and she just repeats them. Heard rumours that she does not have much money as she would like everyone to believe. But she wont let go of her diva status.
I hardly think anyone is laughing at her. She exudes an resplendence and grandeur you just don't see. She is larger than life and a legend. Her beauty is museum quality and breath taking. Show some respect and class.
She admits to not being very wealthy and to recycling her clothes and jewels. So what? Still looks nicer than the Neeta Lulla mall trash (Jodha Akbar aside) most of the other wealthier overrated actresses wear.
I really do love Rekha and have always defended her style, but this time I think she has just really gone too far. This is garish looking. The full-on gold sari, the thick jewellery.. she could've toned it down just a little bit.

Tikka is part of Indian jewelry and it's not something you wear day to day like back in the time of maharaj India, but at wedding and such functions.

My first reaction was wooow, so beautiful! How does she do it? Makeup a bit much but she looks superb otherwise. She looks young and ebullient. I agree with Anon, what a great idea to do a sari post on all of Rekha's kanjeevaram's.
Can't help but laugh at these two.

I agree she still looks better than actresses half her age. She just went a little beserk with the skin lightening. I think her makeup is applied flawlessly. She's still exquisite, and probably is a sight to behold in person.
I can give her a pass because at the time she started out they were pretty mean to her about her darker complexion.
