Sonam Kapoor at the Therese Desqueyroux premiere at Cannes

So how come Sonam looks super stylish in India and ends up botching it all up in Cannes??
Thinking of her white bedsheet look of last year, last year's Massaba saree, the polka-dotted fiasco and THIS.
Of all her appearances, there are only two that are actually praiseworthy, I think: last year's Jean Paul Gaultier on the red carpet, and the look she sported for this year's L'Oreal interviews.
The rest were not even okaaayy, they were downright cringeworthy. Esp for someone lauded as a fashionista.

Loreal gets Ashwariya right and they get Freida right but they can't seem to get Sonam right. Last year Sonam was given a dusky look which I think was way better than the half and half she's pulling now.

Make up looks really uneven. Those cut out eyebrows are not doing her any favours either! Freida stole the show,no contest!

Terrible makeup. Loreal people really need to step up the game. They always make her look cakey whereas Freida's makeup never looks out of place. What gives?

she has a beautiful face, no doubt, but bad dressing sense..in this dress she looks like a CLOWN..

the shine in her hair looks like a white layer and her dress makes her look like as skunk...her fashion taste stinks(no pun intended)..guess she din't pay her stylist enough....

Ghastly. She looks like she just came from the set of one of Tim Burton's movies.

i am not an ash fan but she looked a thousand times hotter and better with that faltu fat on her body as compared to this style icon :o

Sonam's face shows that she isn't hppy with her look herself... why does she pretend so much and wear a blind on her eyes... no one at Cannes cares for her (give Asihwarya minimum importance due to her)... and she doesn't act well in her movies.. I'm starting to get really annoyed of seeing her being called an 'actress'.. when she isn't one.. just a walking mannequin with horrible red lipstick... I hope she does something else, like try becoming a fashion editor and start appearing in fashion magazines, instead of bollywood magazines... the only reason she has some fame is coz Anil Kapoor got some coverage in H-wood movies.

She should have gone for a foundation that matched her own skin tone. This is a disaster.

Just becoz all are criticizing her look, that doesn't mean all are Aish fans....

Aish fans stop tearing down Sonam to build up Aishwarya, they are both representing India, and we need to be happy they are doing such a great job of it.
