hey now! Thats an unfair comparison. Kim Kardashian isnt good for nothing. The Kardashians have built themselves a multimillion empire. They don't live off daddy. They are shrewd businesswoman. Their reality tv show's success is for all to see.
Kim is beautiful (especially prior surgery)--nothing like the average looking Sonam.
I think you meant Sonam is more like Paris Hilton.

And the Kardashians started off as millionaires. Their dad was well-off which made it easy for them to start their own business. If you read about their family life prior to limelight you would know.
secondly, Sonam has said in various interviews that her parenta would keep her on a tight budget when she was in school in Singapore and would give her around 50 dollars a week (singapore is a very expensive place). she said that she started buying all these designer clothes and even bought her first car with her own money (since she started working). Her parents didn't give her a lavish life. Much different from both Kardashian and the Hiltons.
Thirdly, if you listen to Kris Humphries (Kim's husband for 72 days) and her current friend/boyfriend, Kim is obsessed with money. Kris recently has tried to take Kim to the court as her marriage with him was apparently for publicity and TRP for her show. Kim tried to settle it out of court with Kris but he denied stating, that he he doesn't want her money (as he has enough of his own) and just wants everyone to know the truth. Kim is unwilling to go to the court.
It's okay if you like Kim but don't need to defame others for it.

Why are there no professional photographs of Sonam/Mallika at Cannes? Because nobody cares about them! So they have to ask their friends to click them from mobile and send it to India to show how happy they are and what a gala time they are having
